We needed to have a chain-link fence removed. I called them in the morning and talked to Chris. He gave me a quote over the phone, and then told me that due to a rain cancelation, they could get it done that day. His team showed up within an hour, and removed the fence in about 2.5 hours, including cutting out some weeds that had grown into the fence. They were quick and professional, and the yard looks great now. Won't hesitate to use them again if I decide to put in a new fence, and recommend them unreservedly.

Chris and his team were incredible. Fast and efficient, BEYOND polite and professional, communicative through the entire process, and just genuinely good guys. They took out my chain link and installed my new fence in one day, and cleaned up everything before they left. They even hauled away bushes for me! I highly recommend this company for all of your fencing needs.

Communication is very slow, but once they start doing the work they are fast and do a really good job. Reasonably priced and polite.

Zero was not an option. Terrible problems with this fence installation. First at first it was nice, then come to find out they pulled the wrong permit, took forever for them to get back to fix it after 3 letter from the city claiming to take me to court over it. Then they show up unexpectedly with an email notice 2 hours before while i was at work. Their final product was not placed where we had discussed and lost me 4 feet of yard on the entire side of my house, along with bad looking gaps at the gates and where it meets the house. Furthermore, after asking questions, they tried to play the amount of lost wages they had in order to make the project right when it was their fault from the start for pulling the wrong permit and wanted me to pay even more to move it to the location we had discussed and would have settled on if they had given notice of showing up. Would not recommend. It may be cheap but they will not due their due diligence in the project and try to charge you more.
Done Right Fence provides installation services for a comprehensive range of residential and commercial fencing options, including wood, vinyl, aluminum, ornamental steel, chain link, privacy, decorative, pool, and custom fencing solutions tailored to your property requirements and budget.

What areas does Done Right Fence serve?

Not sure if you're in our service area? Contact us—we're happy to help!
How long does a typical fence installation take?
Typical residential fence installations are completed in one to three days, based on factors such as yard size, selected fence material, weather conditions, and project scope. Thanks to our I DRIVE POWER SYSTEMS™ installation method, we don't have to wait for concrete to cure, allowing us to complete many projects faster than traditional fence companies.
Which fence material is best for my home?
The ideal fence material depends on your specific requirements. Wood fencing offers classic aesthetics and privacy. Vinyl fencing provides low maintenance with extended durability. Aluminum fencing delivers elegant appearance with minimal upkeep needs. Chain link fencing offers cost-effective security. Ornamental steel provides superior durability and enhanced curb appeal. Our team will assist you in selecting the most suitable option for your property.
Do I need a permit for a new fence in the Omaha metro area?
In most Omaha metro communities, yes—a fence permit is required before installation. Permit requirements, height limits, setback rules, and HOA regulations vary by city, including Omaha, Papillion, La Vista, Gretna, Council Bluffs, and surrounding areas.
Currently, the City of Bellevue, Nebraska, does not require a permit for most residential fences, although homeowners must still comply with the city's fence regulations and zoning requirements.
The good news? Done Right Fence handles the permit process for you whenever one is required. We'll verify local codes, obtain the necessary permits, and help ensure your new fence meets all applicable city and HOA requirements before construction begins.
Can you remove my old fence?
Yes. We offer comprehensive fence removal and disposal services prior to installing your new fence, ensuring a straightforward and convenient process.
Do you repair damaged fences?
Yes. We perform repairs on fences damaged by storms, wind, aging, accidents, and general wear and tear. Our services include replacement of damaged posts, panels, gates, and hardware.
How long will my new fence last?
Fence longevity varies by material. Wood fences typically last 15 to 20 years with appropriate maintenance. Vinyl fences last 25 to 30 years or more. Aluminum fences last 30 years or more. Chain link fences last 20 to 30 years. Consistent maintenance will extend the lifespan of any fence material.
Do you install privacy fences?
Yes. Privacy fences are among our most requested services. We install wood, vinyl, and composite privacy fences that improve security and create a tranquil outdoor environment.
What is I DRIVE POWER SYSTEMS™?
I DRIVE POWER SYSTEMS™ is Done Right Fence's premium installation system that pneumatically or hydraulically drives steel posts deep into undisturbed soil instead of setting them in concrete. The result is a stronger, cleaner, and longer-lasting fence with less yard disruption, hidden steel support, and the confidence that it's "Done Right the First Time."
What is pool code in the Omaha metro area?
Pool code is a set of local safety requirements designed to help prevent unauthorized access to swimming pools. In the Omaha metro area, most residential pools that are 24 inches deep or deeper must be enclosed by a code-compliant barrier.
For in-ground pools, the fence must be at least 5 feet 7 inches tall. Qualifying above-ground pool barriers must be at least 48 inches tall. Openings in the fence must be small enough that a 4-inch sphere cannot pass through, and all gates must be self-closing, self-latching, and swing away from the pool.
If your home is part of the enclosure, any doors leading directly to the pool must meet additional safety requirements, such as alarms or self-closing, self-latching hardware.
Pool code requirements can vary slightly depending on your city or county, so Done Right Fence will help ensure your new pool fence meets the applicable local requirements before installation.
What is the best type of fence for dogs?
The best fence for your dog depends on their size, breed, and activity level. For most homeowners, a 6-foot privacy fence is the top choice because it prevents climbing, jumping, and distractions from outside the yard. Vinyl and cedar privacy fences are durable, low maintenance, and provide excellent security.
For smaller or less active dogs, aluminum or chain link fencing can also be great options while maintaining visibility. At Done Right Fence, we can help you choose the right height, spacing, and gate configuration to keep your pets safe and secure. We also recommend our I DRIVE POWER SYSTEMS™ installation for a stronger fence foundation that stands up to active dogs and Nebraska weather.
What is the difference between vinyl and wood fencing?
Both vinyl and wood fences are excellent choices, but each offers unique benefits.
Vinyl fencing is low maintenance, won't rot, warp, or require staining, and maintains its appearance for years with minimal upkeep. It's an excellent choice for homeowners looking for long-term durability and a clean, finished look.
Wood fencing offers a natural, timeless appearance and can be customized with different styles, heights, and stains. While it requires periodic staining or sealing to maximize its lifespan, many homeowners prefer the warmth and character that only real wood can provide.
At Done Right Fence, we install premium Country Estates vinyl and high-quality cedar wood fencing using our I DRIVE POWER SYSTEMS™ installation method. No matter which material you choose, you'll receive a stronger fence foundation, expert craftsmanship, and a fence that's "Done Right the First Time."
Is Done Right Fence licensed and insured?
Yes! Done Right Fence is fully licensed and insured for your peace of mind. We carry the appropriate insurance coverage to protect our customers, employees, and your property throughout the installation process.
When you choose Done Right Fence, you're hiring an experienced, professional contractor committed to quality craftsmanship, safety, and doing the job "Done Right the First Time."
