  Conner was extremely helpful. He explained everything in a way I undetstood and I felt very honestly. I also had Tony come out and replace my water heater. Loved their quick response and how hard he worked even in my oven of a house. Star City knows how important AC is in the summer and was able to get me next day instalation. Would recommend them to anyone with no hesitation.

  Tony came over to give us just an estimate on putting in a gas fireplace log and capping off and unused gas line. He knew exactly what he was doing and exactly where all the gas lines went and thoroughly inspected the jobs to be done, and he will get back to us with an estimate. I was very impressed and we look forward to working with Star City in the near future on this project. We appreciate the fact that they would give us an estimate before starting work.

  The plumber was polite, but didn't do anything to help solve the issue. Long story short our water was coming out yellowish brown from every faucet. Water company already told us it was most likes galvanized pipe problem. We called Star City to come out and was under the impression they'd test the water, and also check to see what the issue is and give an estimate of how much it would cost to repair. Plumber comes out says they dont test water and no one in Lincoln does. Ok, office made it sound as if they did. Says "yeah probably the galvanized pipe needs replaced". Ok... how much do you think that will cost? " OH THOUSANDS". I stated I figured that, but what would be an estimate. He claimed 5,000 and up. That's not really an estimate in my opinion. That's more of an opinion with not much confidence on his statement. I ask if if he knew if home insurance would help cover it and he said he didn't know. Every question I asked after that, he didn't seem to know. He was polite and was not rude or impatient. Just didn't seem that he knew how to help us, but we was still charged $89 for them to come out. Also was told we was scheduled for today but when we called to ask where he was after waiting all morning, We was told we wasn't. sheduled till Tuesday but they squeezed us in. Might be better to call for smaller jobs.

  We have had continual issues with our kitchen sink drain, and recently had another company out who cleaned the line and moved on. Austin came out the day we called and he was absolutely incredible. In the several companies we used for the issue, Austin was the only one to actually diagnose the issue. He not only snaked the drain, but was able to find out what is actually wrong. I told Austin if we have any issues in the future, he will be the first one we call. I would highly recommend Star City, especially Austin.

  Jeremy is bar none the most thorough technician we've had look at our HVAC system. Plan on an extended visit if he is on your route! Grateful that he found cracks in our furnace gaskets that others had apparently missed, since those could have become life threatening when the heating season began again. He turned off our gas supply to the furnace as he is required to do and that gave us peace of mind. All his analysis was thoroughly documented with photos and explained in detail. He took time to answer our questions and was very polite and patient after what I imagine was a long work day. We have a lot of health considerations in our household and felt like we were able to make well-informed decisions going forward.
