  I've been a loyal John Henry's customer for more than 30 years, and until today, I would have said they'd never disappointed me. For a few minutes, I thought that streak might be ending. My service technician had never repaired a leaking faucet on an old claw-foot tub. His initial assessment was that it would require a remodel rather than a repair. Fortunately, my best friend owned a plumbing company in Colorado for more than 35 years, so I knew there had to be another option. I asked the technician if he would call someone with more experience. To his credit, he did. He was honest in admitting that he had never worked on this type of faucet before. After consulting with a colleague, he was directed to take photos, stop by Kiner's Plumbing for the correct parts, and give the repair a try. While he was gone, I FaceTimed my friend, who walked me through the repair process so I could offer a few suggestions if they were needed. The best part? The technician returned, completed the repair successfully, and my faucet now works beautifully. As a leadership development facilitator, I couldn't help but see this as a leadership lesson. Expertise isn't about having all the answers—it's about being willing to ask for help, seek additional resources, keep learning, and not give up when the first answer isn't the right one. I appreciate that John Henry's hires people who are willing to learn and that their team supports one another. Thank you for another positive experience—and for reminding me that humility, persistence, and collaboration are just as important in plumbing as they are in leadership.   Our air condition died. I called John Henry. Sid arrived and suggested what we might need. He noted that since our furnace was over 20 years old, it might be good to replace both. It was a one day install. It's hard to describe, but our two bedrooms on first floor were always hot in the summer and cold in the winter. They both now feel like the rest of the house! The air seems fresher. I am so very happy with the result. The cost for both AC and furnace was reasonable. We had to have AC! Sid was so professional and explained things well! Sid, as the first contact, was wonderful!

  We have no complaints about the service. It was professional and prompt. But we thought the price was unreasonable. We had a clogged kitchen sink. It took 1 plumber an hour and one-half to snake the drain. No parts were involved. We were charged $450. We understood in advance the trip charge was $89. That amounts to a very expensive hourly rate by our math. On the plus side, the drain is unclogged.

  They advertise "free in home estimate" then charge for a service call even when they do nothing. Literally nothing for $150. Over the phone they told us it would be around $300 for the job, then told us it'd be $5000 when they got there and looked but did NOTHING!!! I got lincoln water and another plumbing company involved and suddenly it's a $350 job. Don't let fairytales of "free estimates" and low quotes trick you into using these crooks. I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy.

  Alec did a phenomenal job cleaning my sewer line. He was polite, professional, and very respectful throughout the entire service. He even wore shoe covers to keep my home clean, cleaned up after himself when the job was finished, and went the extra mile by putting my trash can back where it belonged. It’s rare to find someone who takes that much pride in their work. Alec is one of the best technicians I’ve had the pleasure of working with, and he absolutely deserves a raise. If I could give him 10 stars, I would! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
