In September 2025, the sales representative told me the countertop would be a single piece and would look comparable to quartz. What was installed, however, was a three‑piece counter with a separate backsplash, and it looks like laminate.
The installation began the week before Thanksgiving and was finished in two days, but the workers stayed until 9 p.m. on the second day just to get it done. Unfortunately, the rushed work showed. They failed to properly seal the counter behind the sink, and within a couple of months the backsplash was ruined. They also installed the drawer face upside‑down, making the drawers difficult to open.
The manufacturer sent the wrong corner cabinet, so the installers retrofitted what they had, which caused the door not to fit. I waited months for the correct door. I called several times and was repeatedly told it was on “rush.” By February 2026, I called again, this time explaining that the unsealed counter had caused damage and that I had been dealing with a cabinet with no door throughout the holidays with family visiting. They said they would request a refund for the inconvenience.
I still don’t understand how an entire kitchen can be ordered and received in 6 weeks, yet it took three months to get one door. When the door finally arrived, it was the wrong size and left a large gap in the corner. The hinges were also incorrect. They reordered, but the next set of doors arrived scratched, and the design on the front was upside‑down.
They were able to fix the drawer face without reordering, and they did replace the backsplash and seal everything, but the seal dried bright white and is very noticeable, despite being told it would dry clear.
The project was not fully completed until April 2026. I do like the cabinets themselves, but I’m disappointed in the countertop quality and the cheap faucet they installed. I could have completed a full kitchen remodel in less time than it took to finish this project, and with better quality.
I have also called twice more about the promised refund and still have not received it.

It looks like my previous review was removed, which is a shame. Because it is relevant to this follow up.
I posted a review on 8/5/2026 because Mad City called me 5 times that day, 5 times to try and force me into scheduling services with them based on the quote I had received previously. I asked to be contacted in late August early September so I had time to prepare the money necessary, but instead of waiting until then I've gotten daily calls. My boyfriend instructed them on the fifth call that day to stop calling us as we won't work with them because they don't respect our requests for a future call back. On 8/6/2025 I got a response to my review halfway apologizing and claiming they do try to respect requests to push calls further out. It is now 8/10/20206 and I have 2 calls from mad city in my phone voicemail log. MAD CITY STOP HARASSING PEOPLE WHEN THEY DONT HAVE THE MONEY NEEDED THE MINUTE YOUR INSPECTORS GIVE A QUOTE.

My boyfriend agreed to an appointment for a window inspection to help the door to door canvasser. Ever since the appointment I have gotten calls weekly and as of today, 8/5/5/26 I have received 5 calls today alone, despite us asking to not be contacted until late August/early September. This company does not understand financial hardships for the community it serves and instead repeatedly calls trying to push service dates despite being asked for time.

My wife and I really loved our new shower.
The guy who installed it was very professional. Well done.
Price is little bit high though but we like the end product

Not sure why this company came onto my porch in Lincoln, knocking on my door. It is clearly posted not to canvas or solicited on the property. I called the company. They could not answer why they came and knocked. One reason now I wont use this company that cannot honor private property but rather harass seniors and trespass anyhow. No means no. Why cant Lincoln Ne Mad City Windows & Baths respect a home owners wishes.
Buyer beware.
