They did a great job with the foundation repairs, and I am pleased with the work itself. However, I do want to address the professionalism of the crew. I was home recovering from major surgery, and I could clearly hear their conversations from my bedroom. The commentary was degrading towards women and unsettling. As the customer, I found this disappointing and ultimately felt uncomfortable approaching them.

I was in need of fixing a sinking garage floor. I did some research online and Groundworks seemed to fit what I need. The day Groundworks came out, right the start, they are customer focus. They explained what they were going to do, checked everything the work order. They did a fantastic job and left everything cleaned up. If you are in the unfortunate situation needing basement or foundation work, I highly recommend Groundworks. From quote to work completion, they never lose focus on the customer.

I had Groundworks of Fargo come to stabilize a section of my house with I-beams. Due to the house being over a crawlspace, I had to remove the toilet, cabinets, and appliances so they could cut out the floors of my kitchen and bathroom to access underneath. After they cut out five sections, they discovered a large hole under my house. This hole made it impossible for an area to have an I-beam and they chose to not put any I-beams around the hole in case it would make it collapse. They did not tell me any of this. Instead, they screwed 2x4s & 2x6s over the floors and left. See attached pictures. They didn't fix the subfloor like the contract said they would. No one called me to give me an update. I called the company over and over for multiple days until I finally got someone on the line just to tell me they couldn't do anything for me and wouldn't be back out to fix the floors. I now have the cold musty crawl space air coming up through the gaps of wood into my kitchen. I do not recommend this company to anyone.
