  I recently had several outlets and overhead lights in my very old house stop working, and I was terrified of what it was going to cost me or how long it might take to find/fix the issue. Bretco Electric was extremely fast to respond to my service request (submitted an online request and heard back within 20 minutes) and was able to send someone less than 2 hours later. Steve and Luis did an amazing job and got straight to work diagnosing and fixing the issues at hand. In addition to knowing their stuff and being professional, you can tell they know you're paying hourly (in line with other electric companies I've used) and they don't mince words or waste time. In the end they ended up replacing a bad breaker, separately finding and fixing a bad switch, and leaving things better than they found it (they noticed a GFCI outlet was already protected and redundant and removed it so it wouldn't be as confusing). They wrapped everything up and cleaned up in under 1.5 hours including travel time. I'll be scheduling them to replace an outlet and install another in the near future. This is the first electric company I've worked with in the area (out of 3) that has really delivered what felt like a good value.

  We found out our meter was burned on the inside at 4:30am in the summer while having a newborn. We called Bretco first thing in the morning and they had Steve and Luis at our house by 11:30am and my meter was fixed and power restored by 4:30pm. They came back the next day to finish a few things, but we are forever grateful for the quick response and how kind and communicative the technicians were. We will only be calling Bretco going forward for all our electrical needs - thank you all so much!!

  We love & trust this company. We have used them for several different repairs and projects including generator maintenance, installing GFCI outlets outside, and recently installing two light fixtures they sent to service guys over and the lights were up within an hour. They will come out immediately at least within 24 hours. On several occasions it's been same day. Make Bretco your go-to electricians! ❤️
