Do not use this company. They came to do yearly maintenance on 6 units on Friday 15th and two motors were burnt up the following day. After inspection my personal AC guy found out that they tightened the belts too much causing the motors to overheat and burn up. Just very unprofessional shady work ethic. This company is all about making money and not caring how they do it. I would have left zero stars if I could

We had a really great experience with O’Brien Service Company. From the very beginning, the communication and responsiveness were excellent. Everyone was friendly, professional, and quick to help.
A special shoutout to our technician, David Bettencourt. David was fantastic. Super friendly, knowledgeable, thorough, and clearly really cares about doing quality work. He took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all of our questions, and made the whole process feel easy and stress-free. You can tell he’s very experienced and genuinely wants to help customers.
Overall just a really positive experience from start to finish. Highly recommend O’Brien Service Company, and especially David, if you’re looking for honest, professional, and responsive service.

Have been using OBrien for 24 years and the level of service only gets better with age. Gauge and Nick did a wonderful job with my new installations. The installation went as exactly as discussed with my sales person. They are always there when needed too during emergencies.
The technicians who came by were very professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. We had the HVAC system serviced and the dryer vent cleaned. They discovered that the dryer hose had never been connected to the vent properly up in the attic. He had to do a lot of extra work to fix it and get it vented properly. I would definitely recommend this company and will be using them again in the future. Excellent experience. Thank you for taking care of this for us!

I have been sitting on this review for a year now while I've been enjoying the finest heating and cooling experience in my own home. I feel myself take a deep breath of fresh, clean, isothermal air as soon as I walk through my door each and every day.
If it weren't for O'Brien, I would still be suffering through uneven distribution of heating and cooling because I'd still be using a system that was outdated and poorly configured. And also putting out over 70% humidity.
O'Brien did a complete overhaul of my HVAC system: new air ducts, new boots, new supply vent registers that were actually sealed properly, and a brand new and energy efficient inverter system by Daikin.
The biggest task was relocating our new air handler to our attic so that we could gain an additional return vent for proper circulation of air in our home. That entailed building a platform for the air handler to sit on, installing the air handler, and adding the proper electrical wiring and drainage for the system. All of this was done properly despite having to work within the awkward confines of our attic. At the end of each day, the technicians had a pleasant demeanor, having just sweat buckets while carefully working around fiberglass insulation baffles in the stagnant heat of my attic.
We had been wanting to do this HVAC upgrade for a while but hesitated because we were worried about finding a reliable service provider that could properly complete our install without causing us further anxiety. When Jeremy came to our home for the free estimate, he was by far the most thorough out of the 10 to 12 contractors I had already spoken with. There was zero guesswork in Jeremy's process when he went through our entire house and did a room by room load measurement. He was the only one who not only did this, but also had the service manager come by to verify that his calculations were correct.
After speaking with Jeremy, we actually got excited about spending money on our new system. It did cost something, but I fully believe that if you take the time to research and learn, you end up getting what you pay for. Jeremy was able to further my knowledge of all things HVAC, while also recommending ways we could save money. It was also very nice that 0% financing was offered, so we are happy to have spent the money.
Now that it has been almost an entire year of being able to walk from one end of the house to the other and never experience even a minor fluctuation in temperature, I have zero regrets. What used to be 70%+ humidity is now down to 45-50% humidity with our new system! I am so thankful we went with O'Brien because it's a blessing to have such a reliable system that gives me comfort and peace of mind. With such a big project, there were many opportunities for things to go awry or for the installers to tell us what we wanted couldn't be done. Every service technician went above and beyond to make sure that every.single.facet of our system was fully replaced and brand new, no matter how small a nook or cranny they had to squeeze into.
If you're looking for someone to service or replace your HVAC system, please call O'Brien. Choose them! They offered multiple options for us so we could "price shop", so save yourself the time and hassle, and just go with the people who really know what they're doing.
TLDR: they have a really good Super Bowl commercial with their service truck jumping the WB draw bridge and I feel like that really shows how committed they are to getting the job done.
