  I have dealt with Crawford Door for 28 years. They installed 5 garage doors in my house at Figure Eight Island when I built it in 1998 and have serviced them as needed since then. Recently a garage door that had the motor assembly and chain mechanism replaced about 2 years ago began to malfunction. I called for a service call and was told that they required a credit card before they would come, a new policy because they had been bought out. In the past they would find the problem, call me with an estimate, and after the repair send me an invoice. NO MORE. The New Buyer wants their money up front, does not call for approval, and seems to be very heavy handed on their billing. They charged me over $630 for a "logic board" and never checked for warranty consideration on the very recently replaced equipment. When I called for an explanation they kept transferring my call and told me the person I needed to speak to wasn't there. I left my number/message a week ago and no one has called me back yet. I will not use Crawford Door again, preferring a locally owned and managed garage door company who cares about treating their customers fairly. I rated them 1 Star since 0 Stars wasn't an option.

  My experience with Steve Woodcock and Crawford Door Systems was outstanding while installing our new garage doors. From the first phone call through the installation, Steve was incredible professional, courteous and he always answered the phone! He and the team worked quickly to meet our deadline and showed up on time as promised. We would absolutely work with Steve and Crawford Door again!

  Technician showed up, told me I had to contact Genie and handed me a $200 bill and left. Might have been here for 10 minutes. Also didn't tell me there would be a charge for just showing up.

  Not good . Been using Crawford to do a drop test on a rollup door. In 2020 5 minute service call cost 139.00 each year after for couple years bill went up 10 or so dollars no problem. 2025 called in December for annual test never heard back from them. Called in January they came this time . Sent bill for 438.00 . 180.00 for travel 180.00 for one man and 50.00 for parts. See photo . Called for explanation was told we were bought out by another company and that this was competitive pricing for job preformed .

  The response time and the technician were very good. Billing was a problem. I called 3 times to get an invoice to pay for the work. Was told once I already paid which was not the case. They kept saying they would get one out. 5 months later I get a call from collections asking me to pay. I still didn't know how much it was. I found out it was only $207! I told the collection agent about requesting a bill 3 times. She tells me it has happened a lot over the past 6 months. That the office is a shambles. Yet I am the one in collections. I paid it 5 minutes after the call. Which I would have done if I had the bill to begin with.
