- JSJoaquin SuarezJun 16, 20261.0Horrible shady lumber store. I went to buy some KDAT 1 x 4 x 16ft and some 1 x 6 x 16 ft. I asked the cashier and the younger warehouse guy to get me clean boards, because I was going to stain them with transparent stain. They both say ok. The guy brought me heavily stained, warped and un-useable boards. I told him that those boards were garbage and can't use them. He replied with a sarcastic tone: that's all we got and left. I complained to an older fork lift driver and when he saw the boards, he shaked his head, went inside the warehouse and brought me new clean boards. I thanked him. I called the cashier complaining and asked the name of the guy to call the owner and tell him what happened and she said had no idea who he was and were about to close and to call another day. I don't know if the owner asks employees to sell their garbage lumber first. It looks like they have a junk pile in one area, because second guy got the better ones from other door in front of store instead of side where got the first ones. It was a horrible experience that they tried to ripp me off. It was my first and last time shopping there. I should of read all the negative reviews before spending my hard earned money there. Avoid these scammers. Hope the owners of these stores read all the bad reviews and fire these bad employees.
