  My service Tech today was Zach. It was an after hours, emergency call and i was dissappointed that the problem wasn't resolved today, but he was prompt, knowledgeable, friendly, and trustworthy. I look forward for his return next week to fix the problem.

  Very disappointed with my experience at Rich’s. The biggest issue was the misdiagnosis of the problem with my AC unit, which resulted in unnecessary time, expense, and frustration. What made the situation even worse was the lack of communication throughout the service and repair process. I had to repeatedly reach out for updates instead of being kept informed about what was happening with my AC unit. I expect a service company to properly diagnose the issue, communicate clearly, and keep the customer informed if anything changes during the repair. Unfortunately, that was not my experience with Rich’s

  My experience was awesome, the technician was in and out and about 15 to 20 minutes and was totally professional. He gave us a card showing us different maintenance schedules and prices and after I talk to my wife, we will be back in contact. Thank you for all your help.

  With temperatures close to 100 degrees and a "feels like" temperature around 110, the last thing you want to have problems with is your air conditioning system. Unfortunately, that's exactly what happened to ours. It teased us a little on Friday, but we assumed the system was simply struggling to keep up with the extreme heat. We were wrong. By midday Saturday, the temperature inside our house continued to climb and we knew something was definitely wrong. My husband called Rich's and left a message. Within just a few minutes, Zach returned his call. He explained that he could come out that day or wait until Monday, but he was completely upfront that a Saturday service call would involve an additional $200 weekend fee. With the temperature steadily rising inside our house, that was an easy decision. Zach told us he'd be there within two hours. True to his word, he arrived as promised. He was friendly and professional, listened to our description of what the system had been doing and then went outside to assess the problem. Thankfully, he returned with good news. The problem was repairable and we weren't facing an immediate replacement of the entire system. At 11 years old, we know our unit isn't going to last forever, so hearing that was certainly a relief. Even better, Zach had the part he needed right on his truck. He retrieved it, made the repair, and within about 30 minutes our air conditioner was back up and running. Now that's what we call service! Something else we really appreciated was Zach's candor about the repair. He cautioned us that he'd seen this particular fix last for the remaining life of a system, but he'd also seen situations where the problem returned within days. He didn't make promises he couldn't guarantee or try to convince us that our 11-year-old system was suddenly as good as new. He simply explained what he'd found, what he'd repaired and what we realistically might expect. We appreciated that honesty. From my husband's initial call to Rich's until Zach was pulling out of our driveway, the entire experience was remarkably quick, especially for a Saturday during a stretch of brutally hot weather. We continue to call Rich's whenever we have problems with our heating or air conditioning because they've consistently provided our family with dependable service when we've needed it. Just as importantly, we have confidence that the work will be done properly and that we'll be treated fairly. And that additional $200 fee for coming out on a Saturday? With temperatures outside pushing 100 degrees and our air conditioner running again before the afternoon was over, it was worth every single penny.
