I was well pleased with the window installation with Window World. The workers were efficient and worked quickly . They cleaned up everything including vacuuming of the area. They made sure the windows were installed correctly and cleaned the windows after they were put in! Great company!

Let's start with what they did wrong and what they still have not fixed. My brand new back door still lets in bugs of all sizes, wind and rain. The dog door is broken around the edges and does not go on and come off without scratching, chipping and damaging not only the dog door but then the door itself. This is a $4,500 door we are talking about. Not cheap. But Window World provided a sub par, cheaply made product that came brand new broken. It has never been fixed. It has stayed broken and even though they have promised to repair it... they have not, to this day. They damaged the drywall around the opening when they removed the old door and damaged the brick outside. They did not replace or repair anything that they damaged. They said that they just rip out the old door and put in the new door. The edges of my drywall are completely messed up and I will have to hire someone to remove the NEW door to fix the damage, then pay them to install the NEW door, again, after I paid Window World for a NEW product and installation and removal, etc. The windows... a third of my windows were installed the wrong way. Gouging, scraping and cutting into themselves when I went to open them. While they fixed one... none of the windows open and close without a hassle. Again. NEW windows. My old rotting wood windows opened and closed just fine. You have to do all kinds of mental math to get the double hung windows to close all the way and be able to lock in place. Multiple times water has leaked in through my NEW windows because of them being cheap and improperly installed and being damaged while being installed. Window World replaced the biggest window... but everything else they have left as is. I have had my windows and door inspected by friends of mine that are contractors and they said that they did a bunch of things wrong. That I would have to pay another company for new windows again and for removal and installation, again. Folks... I'm a U.S Army Soldier and Paratrooper. I paid over $20,000 for windows and a door. Plainyl and kindly stating on multiple occasions that I just wanted what I paid good money for. NEW windows and a NEW door. I only expect them to do exactly what they do... keep the elements out of my home and to keep bugs and rodents out of my home and to be new, durable products (because I spent the money and paid good money for a good product) They charged me thousands of dollars more just to "paint" or "coat" everything black, which they assured me was durable and of a high quality. If I knew that their product would be so poorly made and the paint would have been so delicate... I wouldn't have even purchased from them at all. But they swore up and down that it is all just as good and just as durable as black vinyl, etc. They charged me $5,000 more for everything to be black. For a cheap, delicate, chipping, flaking, hairs and debris being in the coating of paint on the windows and on the door. Then the installation guys scratched and dented the $5,000 coating during installation. When they came back to install a new bottom seal on the door, the door was pushed into my fireplace and it cracked a hole in the NEW door. A few times Window World talked to me about this and a few times they showed up and attempted to repair or replace some things. But now, for months, they have not called me back, they refuse to communicate with me at all. I have paid off almost all of the over $20,000 that I owed them (I have $213 left) And my new windows and new door are still broken, damaged and not fixed. It rained last night and the rain came in through my NEW door and got into the kickboard/trim/drywall by my fireplace and caused moisture damage and warping. I guess water and insects have been getting in for awhile now... but I've been Deployed. I trusted and relied on Window World to do my windows and my door. Now it has caused damage to my home while I was away from home. I thought expensive new windows and door would protect my home investment... no. Unless Window World makes this right. My detailed 1 star review stays.
