Lauren with Evan Air has been coming out for maintenance visits for a while now. She's thorough and efficient. Most recently repairs were also needed. She communicated the needs well, explained without being too technical and answered all my questions. I appreciate the service she provides always.

Lauren was awesome!! She did a thorough check of my HVAC system, noted that the capacitors needed to be replaced, inside and outside. She then worked with my warranty company to get the authorization for the additional work, which was not easy! She also replaced all my filters. Great customer service, would highly recommend Evans Air Services!!

Air conditioner went out in June and had AHS as home warranty. They played games with pricing and we put in 800 dollars of coolant in the unit along with a compressor that worked for 2 weeks and came back and said that something else had gone wrong and that another part was needed that didn't work and another compressor not to mention that all the coolant had leaked out. We had to get AHS involved and decided to put a new unit in. They wanted to replace items as the pad and pan that was already existing an ok . Spoke with CJ and she said that after their tech came out the pad did not have to be replace and they would only blow out the lines which would take something of of the cost but the pan HAD to be replace due to regulations.. She quoted the price with the adjustment of the pad and lines. Their installer kept the old pan and place the new unit in it and stated that he would let the office know to take it off. That evening after completion Lisa called and asked us to pay. When we mentioned the pan and were they going t give us credit for it she was very flip and said absolutely not. I couldn't believe that they asked my husband to give them a 5. Absolutely not!!! If minus 10 was on the scale that would be their score. Not after waiting 3 months with a husband taking Chemo and no sense of urgency. Not to mention that the installer put the tube in front of the filter and the inspector had to have them fix that. When my husband called ,CJ said that it passed and my husband had to let her know that someone needed to correct the filter pipes. This has been a terrible experience!! Zero! zero! zero!!!
The inspector has to come back for the second time. We have spent countless hours dealing with this company. Time is valuable! After being with AHS for over 7 years we cancelled our policies for 2 houses after dealing with Evans Air Services out of Randleman N C
Hope that others would have a better experience than we did..

This was a nightmare of an experience. Our Lennox HVAC was being warranty serviced by Lauren (the owners daughter). She was very rude and disrespectful from the moment I met her.
Problem: The condensation pump was clogged and needed to be cleared.
We were quoted a fee of $125 for labor and the parts will be covered under warranty. Halfway through the work, our fee was close to $500 and I was surprised. Especially since we purchased the home 3 weeks ago. My reaction: I scratched my head and said “Are you shi..ing me?”
Lauren told me that she would not tolerate being cursed at. I stopped her and apologized for her misunderstanding and then explained my reaction was at the price and issues she was telling me about NOT AT HER. (I did NOT have to extend this courtesy to someone standing in MY HOME while they displayed contempt and showed pure disrespect to myself and family.)
Most would understand this. She replied and said that she was GOING to take it personally and that my apology DID NOT matter. Then she rudely asked me if I wanted the newer thermostat or not. Which was going to be another $50 added to the growing cost. (Nothing is wrong with my thermostat btw)
I stepped away because my presence seemed to trigger her and I let my wife handle it. She proceeded to argue with my wife (while I was outside) and then CURSE my wife out. My wife asked her to leave our property. She packed her things and then had a full blown mental meltdown in her van. Screaming and cursing in front of my garage. Then she decides to spin her tires all the way out of our dirt driveway.
I have zero clue to how this customer/warranty service call escalated into something so nasty and personal. I don’t want any service from anyone that comes with contempt and disrespect. Especially if you’re in MY HOME.
How do you show up to your customers house and flat out treat them with contempt and disrespect? I will never understand this kind of mindset or person.
We found another company who showed up an hour (instead of a day later) after she left and they’re appalled at the work she attempted to do and was going to charge us for. The other company fixed our problem, enjoyed a cup of coffee, and they even played with our dog. Most importantly they did not over charge us for the warranty work.
My advice: Go somewhere where the pricing is fair and your not treated like a hated enemy….If you like being treated like a hated dog and price gouged, then Evans Air Services, Inc (especially Lauren) is the place for you buddy.
You let the whole team down Lauren. Good Job kiddo.
