Quick response time and easy communication through texts and email. There was some confusion about what time the tech would show up, but he was thorough and did a good job. They were honest and gave prices for different water heater options.

I had an HVAC issue that needed to be addressed, and I’m very pleased with the service I received from Thermo Direct. They were professional, responsive, and knowledgeable throughout the process. Most importantly, they were able to identify the issue and get it resolved. I appreciate their customer service and the way they handled the situation from start to finish. It’s refreshing to work with a company that stands behind its service and makes sure the customer’s issue is actually resolved. I would definitely recommend Thermo Direct to anyone needing HVAC service.

I have had my new AC unit replaced this year in February. I have had so many problems with it and have had to take as of last Friday a total of 4 days off work because they can’t get the issue fixed. Today the following day after having the technician out here four different times, my AC unit is still not working and it is set at 71° and it is 78° and climbing. I called earlier And was told that they will try to get somebody out today which day is Saturday and of course no one can come out until probably Monday. This has happened more than twice that I have had to have my air-conditioning unit not working properly in the month of August in North Carolina and they will not come out on a weekend or follow through as they said of someone bringing me at least a temporary window unit so that way I can be halfway comfortable while my unit that I paid In full has not been operating correctly for months now. So now Monday coming up will be the fifth day that I have had to take off of work and just be told I’m sorry there’s nothing we can do right now 🤷🏼‍♂️ This really doesn’t cut it with me. I’ve been more than impatient And I’m tired of getting the same results over and over again and as that goes along losing hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of dollars while I cannot go to work. They’re supposed to be open seven days a week, but no one can help after a brand new unit has been installed or taken ownership of it. I will probably need to go rent a motel room this evening because as everyone knows in the month of August, it gets pretty dang hot and it’s no fun when your air-conditioning is not working properly. I do not blame the technicians, they have been doing their best, and I feel that to some degree. Their hands are tied to what they can and cannot do per the manufacture and company regulations on doing step-by-step items instead of just getting a new unit in as they should’ve after the fourth time they could not get that brand new unit to work correctly. Not very happy. Josh Wingate

Rome came out to my house to trouble shoot my HVAC Air Handler and he found that the blower motor needed to be replaced. Rome did such a fantastic job figuring out the issue as well as taking the time to explain what he found was wrong and showing us pictures of his findings. He was very professional and has such a great personality. People like Rome is why we will only do business with Thermo Direct. This company and their Employees are top notch.

Thermo Direct has been a nightmare that seemingly won't end. I have met with Thermo Direct at my house 5 times, 6 if you include meeting a Cary inspector (which failed the HVAC this week), and every time they leave, I find a new issue. Outside of Eddie and a quality assurance worker, the managers and workers have been unprofessional, unknowledgeable, rushing, or disrespectful of my time. My biggest issues include a particular manager assigned to me (that I told them I don't want to work with) and the amount of time I've had to spend working with Thermo Direct to get the unit in a passable state and functional as promised (No ETA there). No one wants to deal with a new dysfunctional HVAC, only to have a manager come out to your house to discuss the issues and argue with you about trivial things like how many times they've been out (why did that matter to you??) or tell you "everyone makes mistakes, these things happen. Go easy on us and you need to be patient." Yeah, uhm, this has been an expensive, frustrating, and time consuming mistake. After this visit happened and I continued to have issues, I asked the front office to get me back in contact with Eddie, and despite them acknowledging my email, I'm still having to deal with that previous manager. Please, I am serious when I say I do not want to talk to them again. I'm writing this review to tell potential customers a couple things: -This company was too good to be true for me, and I'm guessing the issues will easily last me at least a total of 30-45 days (requiring them to be out a total of 24-36 hours for originally a ~12 hour job). -While their sales rep Eddie and product Midea are clearly outstanding, the workers have made repeated mistakes and made a mess in my house multiple times (insulation and dry wall getting on my bed, couches and all across one of my rooms - both were avoidable). If the same set of workers make repeated mistakes, I wish another group was eventually sent out... -Having a manager admit that "mistakes are made, no one is perfect, and to go easy on them" is highly unprofessional and will not make someone feel better when there is continuous issues. That's not reassuring to me, it just tells me that this happens more than I probably want to know. If you paid +$20k for a service and product, let's say a new car, immediately experienced issues, have to contact the dealership multiple times for help, and the sales rep tells you "Go easy on us, we all make mistakes," you're not going to agree and say "yeah you're right, it's fine this new car I bought from you is having problem after problem, still isn't working as promised, and it's fine I keep having to go back to you to get it fixed." -Having support/management be disrespectful of your time, needs, explanation of HVAC problems, and argue about issues I'm experiencing while living at my house is not enjoyable to say the least. I paid Thermo Direct to resolve my issues and provide the highest quality product, not to create new issues and butt heads with people on the services and product agreed upon. Why have an owner tell me on the phone when I'm signing the contract that I'd be in good hands, only to not even get what was initially promised and be disrespected? TLDR: I would have spent more money to go with another company had I known that I was going to experience weeks of issues, have people disrespect my time, and have to fight for the whole reason I hired them. Actions speak louder than words, and right now, I'm waiting for them to contact me about the city inspector from 2 days ago who failed the HVAC unit Thermo Direct installed. After so many issues, I want to be talking with someone who respects me, have them truly listen and troubleshoot ongoing issues, and end this freaking $20k+ time consuming headache. I cannot endorse or recommend this company. Out of respect, I am refraining from mentioning the manager's name I have had issues with.
