  From my first contact with Southern Energy Management to the final follow up phone call, I was impressed with SEM. Each department worked seamlessly to get the job done with the project manager always in touch and on top of things. The installers were hard working and thorough and all my questions answered. Austin Crumpler and Sarah Davis were great to work with. My system with back up battery has been working flawlessly since it was completed about 2 months ago and I feel confident it will continue to do so. I highly recommend SEM for home solar power system.

  The people at SEM were great to deal with from start to finish on my home solar+battery project! The installation crew headed by Josh and electrical crew headed by Jason were notable - unlike many work crews, these guys all get along - they were fun to have around, and both crews finished their parts ahead of schedule. The B Corporation certification of this company actually shows in the attitude and energy of the employees - how refreshing! I highly recommend SEM.

  Very good at explaining the process from development of a proposal to showing how the monitoring app works once the installation is complete. With all of the paperwork (engineering designs, communications with utility, permits, etc.) they did a good job of keeping me updated on the process and completing 95% of all the paperwork. The utility agreements are confusing and unfortunately are a moving target as the rules change from year to year. Installation crews were good at communicating their needs and were respectful to our requests so that we could limit problems for our neighbors. They were flexible with scheduling dates too. I always felt comfortable that the people with whom I worked knew what they were doing and were not just throwing stuff out to see what sticks to the wall. I would definitely use them again for other projects.
