Honestly, I used this company because my experience with Derek when he came in to my house for a free estimate. I almost scratch them from the list because the lady (Chase?) texted me in the morning (expected me to reply and text back). Just so you know, when people have young kid, and work full time, they are super busy in the morning, meal prep for school, meetings and school drop off, we wont have time to read the text or email!!! Its not difficult to call the customer!!!
She finally called around 9.15 AM, just to say "ohh, its close to the appointment time, lets re schedule to Tuesday." I didn't bother to even note it.
Derek came, he was very patient to answer all my questions. He also always responded very quick during the mitigation work. Bronson came in on Saturday, setup the equipment. Carey, Adam and Jake, everyone who worked at my house very nice and polite. Carey even answered my questions thru text when its no longer working hours. This team was excellent!
Unfortunately, it's not the same with the repair/reconstruction team. I had to make couple calls to have this Brandon guy came in to my house and hear whats the next step. The water restoration team was done. We were waiting for a while, when is the repair will be done???
He came in, said he didn't need the sample (not sure why). He took the wood but not the tile. Texts, emails and calls back and forth, finally I called the adjuster, he explained, he said he asked for a document to be submitted and never been submitted. The adjuster said he left the message to the people who picked up the call, tried to call him as well, but like me, he got no response. I was being ignored even though I left messages, texts and emails. I gave Brandon and the adjuster their cell number, but still hear nothing.
Finally, I talked to the adjuster myself. I sent Brandon another email, his respond to my email, stated "ITEL is not required". I was thinking, wow, when the insurance company asked the document, it means its important for them even if its not important for RestoPro.
So yes, thank you for the long waiting period, my house still sitting here messy until now, didn't get repair. If he can be like Derek, communicate well with the adjuster, we'd probably have finished the repair by now.
Just a POOR EXPERIENCE ever.
Now, I just give it to another contractor that wants to do the repair at my house.
I was about to give this company 2.5 stars but that that wont be fair for Derek and team, because they all did excellent job!! So I gave it away for 5 stars, even though I dont want to.
