Every business has a story to tell. Ours goes way back to 1951 when Nathan “Bill” Blanton first founded Blanton’s Heating & Air. It was the start of a special journey—and one that we’re proud to continue today.
Specializing in heating, cooling, plumbing, and electrical services, our business has certainly evolved over the years. But what hasn’t changed is the care we give our clients. In a world that never slows down, Blanton’s honors the old-school, feel-good type of service that brings you back to the good ol’ days.

5 Stars — Exceptional Service!
I had a great experience working with Justin from Blanton’s Air, Plumbing & Electric. Justin was punctual, professional, and took the time to clearly explain everything he was doing. He handled the job efficiently, maintained a clean workspace, and delivered top-notch service from start to finish.
If you're looking for someone who is knowledgeable, thorough, and trustworthy, ask for Justin. I highly recommend him and Blanton’s!

We had a clogged shower drain that would not clear with Drano or plunging. So, we called Blanton's because we liked their commercials on TV, and we have read a recommendation from Greg Fishel. We were very happy with the courtesy and professionalism showed by Luis, who was able to unclog the drain. We would definitely request Luis at Blanton's again for future plumbing repairs!

Communication during the service for plumbing was severely lacking. We have an annual service with Blanton’s where they come in and check our piping, plumbing, water heater check, and water heater flush. Nicholas was very cordial on arrival asking about baseball.
First the good things. Going into the service. Nicholas immediately identified there was water buildup in the expansion tank and it needed to be replaced. He then said that due to sediment buildup and the age of the unit (6 years of use) a flush of the unit would be more likely to damage the water heater than help it so he would not perform a flush of the water heater. This seemed unusual given most water heaters work for 8-15 years, but I trusted his expertise. He also recommended a water drain sensor for the tray which we felt would be beneficial but declined to have installed as the one Blanton’s recommended was over ten times the price of sensors we could find online.
The bad stuff: Nicholas completes the check of the rest of the house by checking our bathrooms and piping. He took some pictures but otherwise said absolutely nothing about any of the items he looked at. I assume the silence meant everything was in good shape but it would have been nice to have some form of confirmation or discussion of what he was looking for.
Nicholas then brought out what he called a recommended invoice which included a new water heater, a ln expansion tank, the sensor, and a flush service. This seemed perplexing to me as he said the flush service was not needed and while we had discussed water heater performance it seemed weird that he was now showing me an invoice for a new unit and telling me “it can be installed today”.
When I asked him why we needed a new water heater today he indicated that he did not think we needed one today but simply wanted to show me what the cost would be for one.
I asked to discuss with my wife over the phone. The next time I spoke with Nicholas he had a new invoice showing that the water heater was now more expensive. When I asked him why the price had changed and if he had recommended a different unit earlier Nicholas said that all the water heaters they install are the same but he forgot to include charges for having an additional person help with installation. While I am choosing to believe this was just confusion on his part it made me uncomfortable as it felt like Nicholas was trying to push a new water heater on us.
I told Nicholas that we would only be interested in the expansion tank. He provided another invoice showing the cost for the expansion tank and the flush fee. Again I asked him about the flush fee as he indicated it would damage our unit and why it was on the invoice. He indicated that the flush did not need to be performed and removed it from the invoice. Again this concerned me as it seemed like Nicholas was contradicting himself and trying to sell us unnecessary services.
Nicholas then performed the work on replacing the expansion tank which took about 20 minutes after which he told us he was done and left without much other discussion.
I checked the hot water after he left and found it had no pressure across the house but we still had cold water pressure. I checked the water heater and found he had turned off the water to the system for the replacement but never turned it back on. We called him back to turn the water back on and double check his work. He turned the pipe back on and I checked the hot water finding air bubbles coming out of the line causing sputtering water. I asked Nicholas about this and he said “yeah that happens, you should check all your faucets”. He left shortly after without checking the faucets or showers himself and that was the end of our experience with Nicholas.
While we have worked with Blanton’s before on HVAC and they have done a good job this was our first time working with the plumbing team and Nicholas left a less than stellar impression. The overall lack of communication and frankly shoddy maintenance work left me feeling very disappointed.

I want to give Blanton more stars, but there were a few things that prevents me from doing that.
First off I had an appointment scheduled for a Friday between 8am - 4 pm (yes - a pretty long window to wait around, but their AI sent me a TXT around midday to say that someone would be coming).
When no one showed up by 4 pm, I called the office and was told that the tech was finishing up a job and that I was next.
Well, nobody showed up on Friday...
Then I was rescheduled for Saturday morning, which I appreciate - a heads up sometime earlier on Friday afternoon would have been nice though.
The leak was fixed, but then came the second problem - $740 for the one hour fix, *OR* they could replace my whole water line for $7,000+ !
I was told that I needed about 70 feet of pex pipe to the street, BUT that they only sell the pipe in 100 foot increments, so that is what I would have to pay for !!?
I might be wrong, but $7,000 to replace a 70 foot water line that runs under grass seems excessive to me, especially since I am casually being told that yes, you need 70 feet, but we are quoting you for 100 feet...
Personally I prefer less bells and whistles and fancy TXTs and a more reasonable quote for work.

Questioning your old HVAC system? Ours was 40 years old. While the outside unit and inner box condenser had been replaced, none of the main trunk or duct work has been touched in 40 years! Today, it was all ripped out and replaced with a new expanded trunk and all new insulated air ducts and air registers. The air intake was increased to 20x25 to meet current code. The installers installed window A/Cs to keep us comfortable during the process. They even had an Uber type HVAC delivery company drop them some extra parts to my house! Every single piece/part of the system is now insulated and sealed. Next to being married to my wife, this has to be the best experience of my life! Just 100% top notch crew and company. You get what you pay for. I have pictures to prove everything. By the way, I have 34 years with the United States Navy and Special Forces. It takes alot to impress me!
