  Our unit went out the night before. I went through several other companies before Dixon reached out the quickest. Extremely friendly. The tech absolutely knew what he was doing. Dispatcher worked very well with me so I could accommodate my dogs prior to the tech showing up. I gave them 5 stars because that is all it would allow me to give. I’ll highly recommend them and they absolutely have my business if anything arise in the future.

  We came back from vacation and found the internal temperature of the house was 91 degrees. I called our regular AC service and they couldn’t get to us until the following week and suggested we call around. We ended up with Dixon Heating & Air Conditioning, P.O. box 28, New Bern NC. They sent a tech the next day. That tech, AFTER charging the system with 6 lbs of refrigerant and charging us $696.54, told us we had a leak in the Evaporator Coil. He also told us that we should be ok for 30 days. It didn’t work for ONE DAY, the house never got below 81 degrees We were given a quote of $2,737 to solve the problem and were asked to pay half up front. On Friday the same tech came a spent 6 hours replacing the coil, evacuating the system and recharging the system. He declared the unit was fixed although it was blowing hot air out of the vents. I refused to pay. He became belligerent and said another tech would be by to check his work. The second tech arrived and proceeded to bad mouth our regular AC service saying all our problems were their fault. He then checked the system and said it was working fine although the house temperature had not changed. When I told him I would pay them as soon as the house temperature hit 70 degrees he became aggressive and I told him to leave the property. After very rude behavior on his part he left. On Monday Morning, after the temp reached 70 degrees I paid the bill. Needless to say, I would NOT RECOMMEND DIXON for anything!

  Had our AC replaced yesterday. Excellent service. The guys turned up as scheduled. Very polite. Cleaned up all their mess. Worked quickly. Good value for money. Highly recommend.
