  I hired Bath Tune Up for a tub to shower conversion..I am overall pleased with the finished job, but not thrilled with the experience I had. The project wasn't without some frustrations and delays. In the beginning I was told that they used their own tilers but they used subs on my job instead. I was also told that after I agreed with the quote and had the tile in hand, the job could start the following month. Also not true. I rushed to get the tile and then it sat for 11 weeks after signing. After waiting, the tile was perfectly laid by Mauricio with the help of Pedro and it looks beautiful. Mauricio and Pedro were meticulous and did an excellent job on the tile work. I was dissapponted however that they did not point out a couple things that seemed out of the ordinary and looked wrong to me but apparently not to them. One issue (wrong pan with wrong drain hole was ordered by Jim) I luckily caught it in time but if I hadn't they were ready to install it. This caused a delay. Another issue I unfortunately did not catch (tile color variation not their fault) until too late to fix. If only they had brought it to my attention so I could do something about it. So I would recommend being vigilant and checking everything and all materials every step of the way. Jim was my contact for the job and was pleasant and receptive to issues along the way. There were a couple issues but he got things resolved and communication was good. One issue was the shower doors. They are plumb against one wall but not the opposite wall, and when the doors are reversed they are visually uneven. Matt from the glass company said it must be an illusion. It clearly is not, so naturally I questioned it. I was told the uneven shower doors could not be resolved because they are installed according to manufacturers recommendation. Not a real explanation but nothing I could do. In another matter, I had to insist that the glass company realign one of the wall strips that was installed wrong. It was not straight and prevented one door from fully reaching the wall. This was resolved. It was during a misdirected phone call that Jim accused me of "insisting" that I use the shower doors the opposite way...in reverse of the manufacturer recommendation. That was absurd and absolutely not true. Apparently the result of my asking a difficult question. I was disrespected at that point. I absolutely have the right to ask questions and request corrections but that apparently was not appreciated behind the scenes. I also have the right to use the shower doors any way I dam well please. Doe to the experience, 4 stars is the most I can agree to.

  We had Bath Tune Up replace our bathtub, flooring, and vanity/cabinets (90s era) and are extremely happy with the results. The space for the tub was awkward but their project manager made a couple trips to check measurements to make sure the large tub we wanted would work. The crew completed everything in two weeks, did very high quality work, and were very respectful of our home and keeping things clean. Some minor frustrations with communication prior to scheduling, but the final result deserves the 5 stars. Thanks BTU!

  I had my master bathroom remodeled about a year ago. I got new flooring, larger vanity with more storage, bigger shower, and stand alone tub. They worked with me on my budget and stayed on budget throughout the project. The sales rep/designer went with me to pick out tile and flooring. She was a great person to bounce decorative ideas of off. They do a great job with the schedule and each worker was on time and professional. They were great when I asked questions and were able to explain every detail to me. My bathroom turned out wonderful and I even still love it a year later. I would definitely recommend bath tune up for any bathroom remodel.
