  My experience with DRB has been poor and getting worse. Let me explain. First, they lured us into a contract using an outdated map leading us to believe there was nothing in front of our house. Surprise, when we went to view our plot of land in the development phase mailboxes were directly in front of our house. They obstruct our view pulling out of the driveway and we are concerned one day someone will get hurt due to this poor planning. Speaking of poor planning, they also charge you a lot premium because these are larger yards, but you have no say in what you can do with your property, which they don't tell you. Matter of fact, our agent Kelsey (she is no longer with DRB) told us how she fenced in her yard and that is was costly leading us to believe it was possible. At no point did she mention the developer gets the last say in how you use your property. We are literally fighting with the HOA to start our fence at the front of the house instead of the back, roughly forty foot difference, to put our septic leeching field inside the fence line. We paid a lot premium, should be no problem. Nope, developer won't approve it and will not give a reason, totally unprofessional. Matter of fact he wants us to use less of our yard. What did I pay $10k for? Speaking of septic, we were shown a map of where our septic would be when we first started working with DRB. One of our dreams was to put a pool in the backyard, so we were happy with where the septic would be located. Surprise, the septic takes up the entire yard and there really is no option for a pool anymore. DRB sold us on putting a deck on our house, which we love, but for $16k the quality is poor. Boards are crooked, the ceiling was sagging (they came back and fixed it), most of the wood is cracking so I am not sure how that will play out over the years. Within our first two weeks of living in the house our AC went out downstairs. For ta week I had people coming in and out of our house trying to fix the AC. A week of keeping our dogs locked up, disrupting my wife's ability to work, and it was uncomfortable temperature wise. What a fiasco. Then we see that our wall is bulging in the loft. They had to come and cut a hole in the wall to figure out that whoever installed a nail plate put it in the wrong spot. It's been almost a week and we still have a hole in our wall and aren't expecting anyone until the end of the week (today is Wednesday). During the final inspection my wife noticed the baseboards were warping which had to be replaced because whoever came to clean the house just threw a bucket of water down and mopped up. Not my words, my project managers words. What kind of people is DRB subcontracting to that we have to deal with all of this while trying to move in and settle. Don't get me started on DRBs preferred lender for Blake Pond, which they require you to use if you want the builder incentive. NFM lending is the company. Not going to go into it, just not a great experience. Do your research. All in all, after being in our house only a month, I have to say we've endured more inconvenience than you would want a new homeowner to experience and unfortunately are regretting our decision of going with DRB.

  DRB has been extremely easy to work with and are flexible to accommodate to your schedule. Kelsey and Jordan have been wonderful guiding us through every facet of the process and very helpful in explaining all of the procedures involved. Jordan has quickly become like one of the family and is always available to answer all of our questions. Its been a real pleasure working with DRB.

  Jordan is awesome! DBR Homes was originally on our list, but we had to take them off because their homes were above our price range. Still, Jordan stayed consistent—he kept us updated on new deals and promotions, and his communication was top-notch. Thanks to his persistence, we found ourselves looking back at those beautiful DBR homes. And guess what? We ended up purchasing one because of the sweet deal Jordan told us about. Great job, Jordan!
