Luxury Vinyl Tile or LVT is extremely durable and will not be marked with high heels or expand and contract. The material is easily customizable and can be laid on a diagonal. Using the latest advances in technology, imaging, texturing, and finishing LVT creates an almost identical appearance to their natural counterpart, whether a distressed wood or rustic ceramic tile. The surface is easy to clean and maintain and does not need to be sanded and sealed, as it can be mopped.

Extremely durable, granite is second in hardness only to diamonds. It contains natural fissures that may appear to be cracks, but they are not structural defects and will not impair the function or durability of the material. They occur naturally and are considered to be part of the beauty of stone. With normal use, nothing in your kitchen will chip, ding or break granite. By nature, granite is very dense and excellent at repelling bacteria, stains and scratches. The finish on polished granite tops is achieved with diamonds and, with normal use, will never wear or fade as long as you own your home. The many color ranges and tones available in granite are wondrous. Movement is a term that is often used to describe the shift in color and pattern in natural stone; granite does not have a uniform pattern or color. The appearance can vary widely between slabs, and even within a single slab. We generally ask our clients to view and choose their actual slab before the top is cut. As granite is a natural stone and thus porous, a granite sealer should applied about once a year thereafter. A mild daily cleaner is also recommended.

Engineered stone is a non-porous man made material consisting of approximately 93% quartz and 7% resin binders and pigment. It has the strength of granite, but is also much heavier. Because it is non-porous, it is impervious to bacteria making it a hygienic food-safe choice. It is resistant to stains but can be damaged by high heat and prolonged exposure to heat or extreme sun light. It has the general appearance of natural stone, but with a consistent pattern and color. (The final installed product will be very close to the sample you see in the showroom.)

Unlike other recycled glass products that are made with cement, Curava has no need for sealing and is stain-resistant. It’s virtually maintenance-free! For day-to-day cleaning, simply use a non-abrasive cleanser and warm water.
