  Because I have a contract, this visit was for routine 6 month check of my system. No problems were evident at this time. The staff are always friendly and provide information to keep my units operating satisfactorily. I recommend NC Comfort anytime someone in my neighborhood has a problem.

  Stop calling around to other companies and just contact NC Comfort Systems. Quick to get in contact with you and offer a good window of when they will arrive. We kept having problems with our AC cutting off when it got really humid - the unit thought there was too much water in the pan (there was no water, just moisture in the air). Tech came out the next morning put in a switch that we can use to override the cutoff and we had AC again.

  So appreciative of the work done by NC Comfort Systems at our soccer fields. We're a small league ran by volunteers on a very tight budget. They came out and did a maintenance and replaced our capacitor for the hvac system that cools the bathrooms and concession stand. I had to work last weekend when it was I the high 80s and let me tell you, I definitely felt the difference! I've used them for my personal residence and now for soccer and have nothing but great things to say. If you need fast, reliable, and affordable service...NC Comfort is the way to go!

  They installed a mini split on my new addition Over a year ago. I had them out today for an error code and Anthony was able to get it fixed straightened out and back up and running in about 15 minutes. It would’ve been sooner if I hadn’t kept talking to him lol Great company to business with, and I would highly recommend them. Edit: I feel that I need to edit this and revise my review. They just called to make sure everything was still working and that the service call went smooth smoothly and the more I think about it the more I feel I need to revise this from 5 to 3 stars. The mini split was installed just over a year ago in our new addition because it was over a year. They explained I would have to pay the $85 diagnostic charge, which I was fine with. Essentially, I had an error code on my thermostat and the unit was not coming on. I had gone up into the attic and pumped out all the water in the secondary emergency drain pan a few days prior to my appointment. After the service call was done. I had spoke with Anthony about what I had done to make sure I did everything correctly and well down too him putting in drain cleaner shop vacuuming the line to make sure it was cleaned out and left me some tablets to help prevent the drain line from getting clogged again. He said I did essentially everything for him before he got there by pumping out all the border, etc. the bill wound up $287 which I paid no issues but the more I think about it the more I feel that the price was exorbitant since the Time consuming and hard part of helping out all the water was already done for him. The charge was $85 for the diagnostic fee and an additional $202 for him to basically or in some drink cleaner put the shop back on to make sure it was still flowing freely and some preventative tablets in the unit to prevent it from happening again. Feel free to make your own decision based on the information. I just feel as if that was a lot of money for some drinks cleaner and tablets on a unit that couldn’t be more than a year and a half old if that..

  We had NC Comfort Systems to come out as a second opinion to fix our AC unit. The previous company quoted us $3200 for a new fan motor and capacitor and also couldn’t tell us whether we would need a new compressor, which could have been 5k+. At this point, we figured it would be best to just replace the entire system, which would have been 11k. NC Comfort Systems came out and determined that it was just the fan motor and capacitor that wasn’t working and needed replacing. Their quote was $1386, almost 2k less than the previous company for the same items. Brian was amazing, he was the one who diagnosed the problem and saved us 10k by not having to replace the unit. We also loved Anthony, the technician who was able to come out early the next day to fix the problem. 10/10 stars for NC Comfort Systems! We will definitely use them in the future for any HVAC concerns!
