Highly recommend Blue Mountain Flooring! They made the process simple from beginning to end. Crew showed up on time and ready to work… did an amazing job… and finished even faster than I’d hoped for! The new floors look so good and absolutely transformed my home! Thanks!

Blue Mountain Flooring did a very nice job, and we are happy with the final product. I give Kyle and Kim a 5 star rating. Most of the installers also deserve a 5 star rating, but there were a couple who did not perform at the same quality level as those who did excellent work, thus a 4 star rating. Kyle is trustworthy and knows his products and the installation process well. We did shop around, but came back to Blue Mtn Flooring because we felt Kyle was the most trustworthy and reliable, and would get the job done right. (And this was a big job for us.) He helped us select the brand and type of flooring and the wood best suited for our home, lifestyle and tastes. And, we love the final product! We also had carpet torn off three sets of steps, changed out to wood to match the flooring, and two bedrooms carpeted. We're very happy with the final outcome. Downside was that the job took longer to complete than expected due to challenges in scheduling the subs. That was frustrating, but Kyle was prompt in keeping us informed and we took the initiative to keep him updated about punch list items and when subs didn't arrive as planned. We have done enough work in our home with contractors to know jobs always take longer than estimated, and have had a few difficult situations with subs. With that said, we feel the experience of working with Blue Mountain Flooring was worth it and would work with Kyle again.

We hired Kyle’s firm last summer upon the recommendation of an interior decorator. We were impressed. He could talk the talk. Ours was a large job that entailed removing all of the floors on the first level of our home and installing new. It turned out he could also walk the walk as things went generally smoothly. However, things took a turn for the worse when it became apparent that some of his subs were not up to their assigned tasks – painters, trim carpenters, etc. He did not insist on payment up front or we wouldn’t have used him. However, if the work was done on day one he wanted payment on day two at the latest. Since his job involved replacing all floors he also had to arrange for furniture movers. When the job was done we discovered damaged furniture and the damages are significant enough that I’m seeking reimbursement. I called him one day last summer and asked him if he had insurance. “Sure.” He said. I sent him a description of damages and repair estimates. Since then I’ve been on his Do Not Call list. I’m about to move to the next level. This is step one of that move. I do not recommend him or his company. I know he’s a small businessman. If he had just called to ask how he could make things right I would feel different about him. Instead, he’s in hiding and I’m being forced to flush him out. That process is just beginning.

Kyle was very professional in helping choose flooring to replace carpeting in a condo. He was always on time and responsive to all of our questions. The workers did a great job installing the flooring, moving furniture and cleaning up once the job was complete. Would use Kyle's company again for flooring needs.
