  Trotter Brothers Flooring replaced bedroom and bonus room carpets, installed solid hardwood flooring in the living room and upstairs hallway, and replaced the existing carpeted stairway with hardwood treads and risers in my 1.5 story house. The work also involved installation of skirt and molding for the stairs. I am pleased with the results. Crews for both jobs were experienced and skilled; they showed up as scheduled and on time. In a couple of places the subfloor required a rework before the hardwood could be properly installed. There was an extra charge for this work, but it was reasonable considering the time and materials that went into the effort. I should add that Seaton made sure I was satisfied with the quality of the work throughout the project. After the work was completed, I asked him to replace the top nose piece of the stairs because the color and character of the wood did not match the other treads. He agreed, and had his crew replaced it at my convenience.

  A big thank you to Seaton Trotter for putting their customer first. We were called out after one of their flooring crews was moving a refrigerator and an older saddle valve serving the ice maker line unfortunately failed. While this was an unexpected situation, Seaton Trotter immediately stepped up and took responsibility for getting the issue taken care of. Rather than passing the cost and inconvenience on to their customer, they hired Owens Plumbing to make the repair properly. They could have chosen the cheapest route, but instead they chose to bring in a licensed and insured plumbing contractor to ensure the repair was completed correctly and safely. It says a lot about a company when they stand behind their work and take care of their customers, even when unexpected situations arise.   We recently moved to Greensboro and were referred to Trotter Brothers flooring by our friend and realtor Jeffrey Kelleher. And so glad he did! We had great advice from Seaton on floor choices and design. We had a wood floor installed in a rec room and stair landing and carpet in 3 bedrooms. He also recommended a stair runner which completely upgraded our stairs. The end result is really beautiful. The installers did a fantastic job. They were on time, cleaned up and were just really nice people. Seaton was in constant contact and was always available for any questions. I would only use Trotter Brothers flooring for any floor needs in the future.

  I visited after seeing an ad for Trotter Brothers Flooring on Facebook. I am a teacher and wanted a large carpet for my classroom. I was highly impressed with the professionalism and friendliness of the staff. I called before driving an hour to the store and I truly appreciate the patience they had in answering my questions. When I arrived, I was greeted with a smile and taken directly to what I was looking for. They even helped load the carpet onto my truck. 10/10 recommend Trotter Brothers for your flooring needs!
