  Mr Duncan did a phenomenal job conducting maintenance on the Gander generator, explaining to me what to do if I need to shutdown the unit after running for 24 hours to check oil and how to engage the transfer switch if the generator comes on but the transfer switch does not engage. Mr. Duncan should be an instructor. He really enjoy his job, understand the equipment and likes to help people. Thank you! -Jose Texidor

  I recently had Duncan from Canter Power Systems come and check out my Generac generator to see why my upstairs A/C did not come on when we lost power recently. Canter Power Systems scheduled him in a timely manner. Duncan did an exceptional job. He was very thorough and extremely knowledgeable concerning the Generac generator and kept working until he discovered what the problem was. I hope any time we have an issue that Canter Power Systems sends Duncan to fix the problem. He really did an awesome job.

  William S not only is my technician for this Generac in Crystal River, Fl, but my Generac in Leesburg, Fl. They were purchased because my husband was on a oxygenator. I chased fuel tankers during one hurricane to keep a gas generator running thru the power outage. I said never again and called Generac! Because he was dependent on oxygen supplement, it was a medical necessity and a portion was deductible as a medical expense, the other half increased value to your home. But most of all it kept my husband safe. A great Dad, a Vietnam Army veteran, a 20 year law- enforcement officer and then the US Postal Service, married 50 years."He was always our hero".

  I purchased a whole house back up generation from Canter Power Systems Spending approx. $16K for generator, installation, and 12 year warranty. The experience was a disaster after the generator was delivered. They gave conflicting instructions of what they needed in a new gas meter causing the gas company to install two different meters. I am a degreed engineer and could have got the right meter installed the first time if they didn't relay instructions through two parties and followed my request to have their technical personal talk directly with the gas company the first time. Then their plumbers installed too small of a gas line and had to pull it out and reinstall a larger one in order to get the necessary gas flow. This caused the electrical to come out twice for the install and test. This also caused me multiple trips to the newly purchased house during the install. It has only passed a self test once without shutting down during the test. When I call for service, either I can't get through or I get in a do loop with their AI assistant. They keep telling me I will be contacted within 2 day via text which is a load of bull. Still waiting for the text. Tread carefully dealing with Canter, or better yet go with someone local for the generator install because Canter's warranty appears to be useless.

  So the technician Josh in Nashville tn came two days early to see why our brand new generac system was not working. We are supposed to have storms tomorrow and I didn’t want to loose power in this heat wave that we have been having and he came two days before his scheduled time. Found lots of installation issues from when it was installed and fixed them all. Was so helpful and showed me how it was to work. Gave me his number if we needed emergency help. Just went above and beyond. Thank you
