  Just had my AC looked at and to find out why it wasn’t working. Phillip was very professional and easy to talk with. He trouble shot my AC system and recommended what needed to be done to fix the problem. A representative will be visiting tomorrow to go over possible repairs or replacement of AC unit. Very satisfied with Phillips work and recommendations. UPDATE 7/9/2026 Just had the HVAC unit replaced with a new Lennox system. Technicians Shawn and Taylor did an outstanding job of installing the units outside and in the attic (which was extremely hot!). Both gentlemen were very professional. Floor and carpet protection was put down and clean up was immaculate. I would highly recommend Blanton’s Air, Plumbing & Electric for your home or business. And ask for Shawn and Taylor.

  I had contacted Blanton's to look at a faulty electric outlet that was corroded and dead On June 29th, 2026, Armando Arroyo and assistant Edwin came and worked on it. They were thoroughly professional, knowledgeable, and exceptionally customer friendly. They informed me of, and explained, every step they were taking to diagnose and fix what problems they found; I had absolutely no qualms about what they were doing. I was completely confident about them and their work. They resolved the problems quickly and left everything neat and tidy when they were done. While reviewing the final work that was done, I happened to mention that we use a small space heater sometimes in this outlet. They said that was probably what caused the outlet to fail. They then were kind enough to mention that they could put in a new separate electric line just for the space heater that woul support the curent drain. It was way late afternoon, but they offered to stay and put in the line. They then installed a new line, outlet and circuit breaker. What exceptional customer service, and going above and beyond!! I was completely taken away about their thoughtfulness and consideration of my concerns.

  Blanton's replaced our 16 year old HVAC unit that went out in a period of very high temperature days. They were able to come out very quickly to troubleshoot the problem with the unit. Also when we decided to replace it getting a quote was very fast. We had to wait a week because understandably there was a full schedule for there install team. They supplied us with some portable A/C units that made the week bearable and was appreciated. All of the team that we met were professional and friendly. Quentin and Tim did a great job installing our system. They found small issue with our ducting while doing the install and fixed them anyway on the spot. Like other reviews I agree their pricing is very high. We were told that there was no military discount for replacing our system but apparently they do for selective jobs? The tech that came and looked at our system originally said there was a good discount for military. I'm not saying we were misled or anything just surprised after also reading on there site they had discounts. We get it heat pumps have increased cost tremendously in the last few years. Premium regional company, Premium HVAC brand installed and well trained staff = premium price. We made the quick decision to let them do it. Under different circumstances though(not the middle of summer, a heat wave, and not an optional replacement) it would be worth not making such a quick decision. We have had similar service levels by another regional company for lower cost.

  We purchased a home a year ago with the big selling point being a brand new 40k AC units installed by Blantons. Since then we have had our AC go out three times. -1st time. Following our home inspection and move in the home got to above 80 degrees downstairs within the first week of moving in because a tech didn’t close a valve and all of the Freon poured out. It took several days, 3 techs, several multi-thousand dollar diagnostic/repair estimates for someone to actually figure out the simple problem and refill our Freon for free. -2nd time: 5months later. The unit that cools the upstairs went out due to a faulty part. Similar story of scary estimates and arguing why this type of issue is not covered under a warranty for such a new unit. Ended up opting for a different company to repair because they would do the job for $500 cheaper even though IT WASN’T THEIR UNIT THEY INSTALLED. -3rd time: Finally decided to get a home warranty following the second incident. To our lack of surprise our AC went out now three months ago and still hasn’t been fixed thanks to Blantons techs cutting corners from start to finish. We put in a claim now 3 months, an independent tech came out and our home warranty company said they couldn’t process the repairs because there is not a recorded inspection with our units and that is a NC requirement, typically done upon completion of the instal. We have failed the inspection three times from the same person to date because of Blantons inability to do sufficient work to correct the deficiencies for things that could very well be the major factors in the last two times our AC went out. This leads me two days ago. A Blantons tech, nice guy, comes out to correct this deficiencies. Kindly notes the Walmart bought AC unit sticking out our window and asks if we (Blantons) are fixing the issues and I said I hope so. The tech goes about correcting deficiencies and says that there are two items that need to be remedied before the inspector comes out. I say okay no issues. I call the inspection department late two days ago or yesterday. Inform her of the techs comments and lay on an inspection for today. At about 9am I see a Blantons truck pull up outside. 15 minutes goes by and no one comes to the door. The tech took off after leaving a ladder next to my trash can and I couldn’t tell you if he fixed the other issue and decided to go into my backyard to access the crawl space without informing me. Now it is noon and the AC inspector has yet to arrive and I can’t get someone to answer the damn phone so I can get this done TO THEN FINALLY ASK SOMEONE ELSE TO FIX MY AC because all they would offer is to have someone reinspect my units NOT FIX THE BROKEN UNIT. Also, Their AI chatbot is terrible.

  We have used Blanton's for several years across multiple jobs — water heater replacement, minor repairs, and now what turned into two major sewer line replacements at a rental property in historic Fayetteville. Every single experience has been excellent and only continues to deepen our trust in them. What started as a simple drain issue — poorly repaired by another company and continuing to cause problems — eventually revealed a wildly outdated, quirky 100-year-old terracotta system that needed full replacement in two stages. Our first technician, Austin, immediately diagnosed the problem and tackled the first half of the sewer lines with impressive care — working around established landscaping, a backyard pond, hand-digging under a brick wall, and preserving as much of the driveway as possible. Due to the age of the system, he wasn't able to fully access the remaining 200 feet running to the city hookup, but everything was flowing smoothly and looked great as far as he could see. Fast forward a few months, and a section of that remaining old line collapsed. Blanton's was our first call, and Jacob was at the house within 2 hours. He worked tirelessly with his supervisor to find a temporary solution, even going so far as to recommend another company with larger equipment when needed. We did — reluctantly — try them, and quickly realized their customer service was nowhere near the standard we've come to expect from Blanton's. They were also unable to clear the line. Back to Jacob and his crew for the full replacement. They navigated a narrow driveway flanked by two historic stone retaining walls, preserved the cement driveway, and hand-dug carefully under decorative brick trim — everything was handled with exactly the care I hoped for. The other company had warned us those features might be damaged in the process, which was not reassuring. Blanton's made sure that wasn't the case. With a system as old and unpredictable as ours, there were plenty of surprises underground. Jacob's team consulted with PWC at every turn, confirmed exactly what was required to bring everything up to code, and connected it all properly to the city line without cutting corners. Between these two large sewer projects, a water heater replacement, and several smaller repairs over the last four years, Blanton's has never once let us down. Every technician is polite, knowledgeable, and genuinely cares about the work they do. Their honesty is what sets them apart — diagnosing issues accurately, being upfront about what they can and can't do, and not charging for services when they can't deliver. That kind of integrity is rare, and it means everything. Blanton's has our trust for good.
