This location rented me equipment that was broken or malfunctioning twice within two weeks and refused to take any accountability. The manager even confirmed that, for one piece of equipment, they never inspected it after receiving it from another branch, yet still rented it out without verifying its functionality or safety.
Rather than honestly acknowledging that his team’s mistake led to a very poor customer experience, the manager instead tried to make me feel bad for being upset. He claimed I had “bad energy” that was going to affect his energy, and laughed at me for allowing “something so small” to ruin my day. He seemed to think that it was wrong for me to be mad at him since he didn't "work on the jacks" which was obvious from his soft hands and his need for a frat boy style motivational poster in his office. It was clear his job was a lot more sitting behind a computer click away and watching tik toks about "good energy" and vibes.
I recommend driving the extra distance and going to the other store and if you do unfortunately have to use this place make sure you check the nuts and bolts holding the wheels on and confirm the safety of your equipment yourself because the staff has not done that for me the last two times.

Is a deposit required for a reservation?
For customers without a line of credit, Sunbelt Rentals does not require a deposit to rent tools and equipment. However, you will be asked for payment information when you make your reservation. Your credit or debit card will not be charged for the rental period (one ((1)) day minimum) until you pick up the equipment.
For Credit Customers, we will secure a deposit for your reservation. This deposit will be held within your account until the rental equipment is returned and the contract closed. Apply for a credit account here.
If your project is quick and you only need the equipment for a few hours, Sunbelt Rentals does offer a Rapid Return rate. Return the equipment within four (4) hours of the pickup time and we will refund the difference of the Rapid Return rate. Rates will vary based on product. What if I need to keep my equipment longer?
If you need assistance, please contact the branch of the equipment rental and they can extend the rental for you. When you keep the equipment longer, we will add the additional time and charges to your contract and credit card. Please refer to the rental contract, where the day, week and 4-week rates are shown for each piece of tool and equipment.
Can I return rented equipment at any location?
Typically, equipment should be returned to the same location where you initially rented it. If you need to return it to a different location, please contact the store where you rented the equipment for guidance. It’s advisable to call ahead so we can assist you in finding a convenient alternative location for your return. Your convenience is our priority.
What is the cost for the delivery of equipment to my location?
The delivery charge is calculated based on the category and class of equipment, the location of the rental location, the distance of the project site from the rental location.
