  If I could leave 0 stars, I would. I originally called Jackson and Sons out in Jun 2026 because our HVAC was not cooling properly. Had a technician out, could not diagnose the problem, recommended to top off the refrigerant of the unit (almost $450) and then left. What do you know, did not solve the issue. But I did buy a maintence plan so that I would not have a service charge next time they're out. Had them out again last week, still could not definitively diagnose the issue, but thinks, maybe, its probably the thermostat. So we replace that, another $350 (for a thermostat that sells for $80 btw) and gosh--that didn't fix the issue either. So now I am out $800, my house is still almost 80 degrees, even though my system is less than 5 years old, and when I call for priority, emergency service, as a preferred customer, I get told the earliest they can come out is 3 days. But hey, what's the point anyway, its not like their techs will be able to properly diagnose the issue anyway! I'll just keep swiping my card to not fix the issue. Run far, far away from this business.

  Answering service is available 24 hours. They set a service window of between 1-5 pm the day after my air conditioner broke. The house temperature was around 90 degrees as I waited for the technician to. At around 4:30 I called to see when the call would be made. They called back at 4:45 to tell me they weren’t going to make it until noon the next day. I waited the next day until about 4:30. Service person came and diagnosed the problem but I went elsewhere to get it fixed.

  This was a very frustrating experience as a new homeowner in Greenville, North Carolina. We chose you because of your rating. The communication and coordination on your end. Was terrible. Dispatchers were polite and very nice, just not talking to each other or good notes maybe, you Dropped the ball and left me and my tenants waiting and waiting and waiting, no callbacks when I was told they were coming and expecting them. I constantly had to call and I spoke to a different people in the end over 8 to 10 hours of frustration for me and me trying to keep my tenants waiting for you and your service call I called to check Check in and let them know we were waiting, And then someone named Joy called 30 minutes later while I was occupied, and I called 30 minutes later, to find she had canceled my appointment because I happen to be occupied at the time she called. It was then supposedly fixed in the service tech was on his way back, but I waited over an hour and then called again and waited online for a half an hour, and then was told Coming waited on hold again for a while waited out another hour. Then I had to call back again. Was told they would be the first thing in the morning now. And then first thing in the morning came and of course I was not. I was told between eight and 12 they showed up at 1:30.

  August 7, 2026. At 10:33 AM I was on Highway 13 N headed into Goldsboro. I was turning right onto Tommy's Road when a Jackson and Sons van came up on me and passed me in the left turn lane at full speed IN THE MIDDLE OF AN INTERSECTION. 45 mph or more. I could not believe an employee of such a well known company would make such a stupid and dangerous move, endangering people's lives. And with the company's name plastered all over the van! I'm posting this review as a warning to the general public to be extremely careful around Jackson and Sons vehicles. I hope the dangerous recklessness of this one employee is not indicative of the whole company's attitude towards safety. What a poor reflection of the Jackson and Sons company name.

  Jackson and Sons Serviced my HVAC, I was very pleased with the service and the representative. They were professional and took the time to make sure you understood completely. What was being done and what options you might have to choose from. They took pictures and video of their work to help me understand what was being done. They did not try to upsell me or sell me a service or part that I didn’t need. The representative was very polite and respectful of my home and me. I liked this company enough to sign up for a twice a year plan with them. The amount I paid may look high, but that was not for the system maintenance. It was for the choices I made in addition to the system maintenance.I highly recommend this company if you’re wondering who to service your HVAC with.
