  I have had an HVAC service contract with this company for about 14 months. So far, my experience with them has been outstanding in all areas, including punctuality, technical expertise, and business ethics. I especially appreciate that they have not tried to upsell me on unneeded products. Of the company techs I have dealt with, I want to single out Jim Inglis, a senior service representative, for special praise. In my dealings with him, Jim has demonstrated exceptional knowledge of all types of HVAC systems -- both industrial and residential. Jim is the only tech I have found in Charlotte who has been able to diagnose and service my residential HVAC system, which is one of the few (if any) around here equipped with special extreme-weather industrial accessories. I also want to add that Jim's extensive technical expertise is well-complemented by his rare diagnostic abilities, unusual attention to detail, expert mechanical skills, and dedicated work ethic. If I could, I would give Jim Inglis six stars based on my experience with him.

  I had an issue with my AC unit October 2025, and took a chance with One Hour Heating and Air. Noah was assigned as the tech and was very prompt, professional, and thorough in getting the system up and running. Months later, I called again in a panic with another issue. Noah returned within 20 minutes of my call, late on a Friday night, and had the house cool again in less than 10 minutes. The other technician with One Hour, Kylie, serviced the unit as part of my contract, and she was equally professional and thorough. Overall, great experiences with One Hour Heating and Air. Highly recommend.

  Blake and Hunter did a thorough job with our regular maintenance. Great before and after photos, system reports, recommendations and professional , friendly service. Very satisfied with One Hour air conditioning and heating services. Dependaworthy as their ads say.

  Ace Vega replaced the evaporator on one of my air conditioners, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the experience. He handled the job in a very professional manner from start to finish, explained everything clearly, and made sure the work was done right. What also stood out was how reasonable and fair the pricing was compared to another large local HVAC company I contacted. Honest, skilled, and professional service is hard to find these days, and Ace definitely delivered. Highly recommend him to anyone needing HVAC work done. Five stars all the way!

  We had a new tech (Jose) with our recent maintenance service and he didn’t change our filters like the previous guy did 😢- not a huge deal, but I thought that was part of the maintenance service. Jose also spent the majority of his time talking to a woman on speaker phone (definitely a personal call, not work related). Still a great company, just not a stellar experience with this new tech (Jose). Update: about a week later, my husband went into to the attic and found that Jose had not secured the panel and cold air was blowing into our attic instead of the living space. I called and One Hour immediately sent someone out to fix the issue. Dustin arrived within 2 hours of my initial call and fixed the issue. Dustin was very polite (apologetic for the mistake) and made sure the unit was sealed properly.
