  I truly cannot say enough good things about Kisha and Sean. They are both incredible, and without them, our experience with Stanley Martin would have been completely different. When I say Kisha did backflips for us, I mean it. She did everything and more to get us to closing. She solved problems, stayed on top of countless details, stepped in when others dropped the ball, and somehow kept everything moving forward even when it felt like we were hitting one roadblock after another. What really stood out about Kisha was that her commitment never seemed to stop when the workday ended. Day or night, weekday or weekend, even while she was on vacation, she was checking in, answering questions, following up, and making sure we were set up for success. There were multiple times when something came up outside of normal business hours and, instead of leaving us to worry about it until later, Kisha jumped in and helped move it forward. She made us feel like our home mattered to her personally, not like we were just another transaction. Truthfully, Kisha carried our experience with Stanley Martin. There is no doubt in my mind that we would have walked away from the home had it not been for her. Time and time again, she took ownership of things that were not even her responsibility because she genuinely cared about making sure we were taken care of. She moved mountains for us, and we will always be grateful for the amount of time, energy, and care she put into getting our family into our home. I also want to give a huge shout-out to Sean, who Kisha connected us with toward the end of our build. Sean walked into a difficult situation. Our experience with the previous neighborhood construction manager had been incredibly frustrating. Communication and follow-through were lacking, and even with us constantly staying involved and following up, a number of significant items were missed or left unresolved. In juxtaposition, Sean’s approach could not have been more different. He immediately got to work and did everything he could to rebuild our confidence in Stanley Martin. He is an excellent communicator, incredibly knowledgeable, responsive, and someone who clearly takes pride in what he does. What stood out most was how quickly I went from feeling like I had to micromanage every detail of the construction process to completely trusting Sean. I knew that if he said something was going to be taken care of, it would be. I genuinely felt like he had our best interests at heart and was there to help us, protect us, and advocate for our family. One moment really sums up the kind of person Sean is. He stayed until around 11:00 p.m. making sure even the smallest details of our home were taken care of and that everything was ready for my wife, our toddler, our newborn, and me to finally call it home. He did not have to do that. He chose to because he cared about getting it right. That meant more to us than he probably realizes. Kisha and Sean are truly assets to Stanley Martin. Without them, this buying experience would have been an awful one. Instead, they both worked tirelessly to make sure we were taken care of and that our family could be excited about moving into our new home. We cannot thank them enough for everything they did for us. They took what had become an incredibly stressful experience and turned it around through sheer effort, accountability, and genuine care. If you are lucky enough to work with Kisha and Sean, you are in very good hands.

  Meeting Kisha for the first time, we immediately knew we were in good hands. She’s so sweet, welcoming, and very knowledgeable about the Charlotte area. We instantly connected with her! As relocation buyers, we knew very little about Charlotte, but Kisha guided us through our new build home buying process and was there every step of the way. She gave us great recommendations on things to do in the area with our family and provided valuable insight into schools and different areas. Whenever an issue came up, she was always responsive and communicative! We’re so grateful that we met Kisha, she truly made our relocation experience so much easier! Thank you Kisha!!!!

  3 Stars My initial experience with this builder was disappointing. Several items that were promised to me by the original construction manager were never completed after he left the company. Getting those issues addressed became much more difficult than it should have been, and I felt like I had to fight to have commitments honored. The reason I’m updating my review is because Takisha Riley stepped in and made a real difference. She listened to my concerns, followed through, and helped get the outstanding items resolved. I truly appreciate her professionalism, responsiveness, and willingness to advocate on my behalf. While I can’t give five stars because the overall process was far from smooth, I do want to recognize Takisha for turning a very frustrating situation into a much better outcome. I hope the company improves its communication and follow-through so future homeowners don’t have the same experience.
