  We used Cabinets To Go for our kitchen remodel in Charlotte. We had a good experience overall. Chris Pruett, our main contact, was the main reason we decided to go with them. He was easy to reach, knew his stuff, and never made us feel like we were bothering him with questions. What I appreciated most was that he stayed ahead of things. A lot of people in remodeling wait until you push them for answers. Chris didn’t work that way. He would already have ideas drawn up or updates ready before I even asked. It was impressive Nissi Home Renovations did our cabinet install. A couple cabinet doors showed up damaged, but they had already noticed it themselves and had replacements ordered before we even said anything. When the replacements came in, they swapped them out pretty quickly. Later a few trim pieces loosened up and they came back out and fixed those too without making it into a whole ordeal. Cutting Edge Stone Works handled the countertops and they turned out great. The kitchen looks completely different now. There were a few hiccups during the remodel, which honestly is probably unavoidable with this kind of project. Everytime I contacted Chris, he immediteately made things happen. At one point a plumbing pipe got broken during the install. There was some discussion over whether the old plumbing contributed to it, but the important part was that it got handled fast and everyone worked things out fairly in the end. Overall I’d use them again. The process wasn’t perfect, but the people involved cared about fixing problems instead of arguing about them, and that goes a long way on a remodel.

  While we are happy with the product (the kitchen) itself, the customer service is awful. We have been in process of trying to replace missing pieces/incorrect pieces for 2 years. We are frequently given the runaround by any and every employee and they have proven that they are not FOR their customer or able to admit their own designing and ordering mistakes. You would think after a $20,000 purchase, they would be more aware and on top of taking care of their customers. We have made sure to let friends and family know that we like the product, but would NEVER recommend using Cabinets to Go for any projects as the process is not worth it.
