  No!!! Tried to take us for a new air conditioning unit which would need a crane to place on the roof of our condo building in NoDa. $10K large! It felt scammy. We got someone local highly recommended said nah it’s fine 1k as it just needs refrigerant and related parts. It was worth the wait! Happy to give this guy business! Feeling cold air

  We called Acosta when we switched from a gas to an electric stove due to our gas oven catching fire. Jay came in to check out the situation and we were thrilled when he confidently let us know he could handle the switch over. He and Shane came back a few days later and were able to switch out the plug and cap the gas quickly and efficiently; they were also so kind as to put the new stove in for us. Both men were friendly and professional. We will definitely use Acosta again!

  Total deception and unprofessionalism. Tech came out to access a 6 year old split system not working. Initially stated the issue was cleaning. I was charged $367.00 to clean the unit. After the cleaning, AC still not working. He then stated the board needed to be replaced. It was under warranty and the cost to install would be around $600.00. It would take 7-10 days to get the board. I called on the 7th day, he stated that the distributor advised that the board was still on the way. On the 10th day (6/12/2026) I sent him a text asking for the distributor’s info. He never responded to my text.

  Thank you, Steven for coming out to give me a second opinion on my Hvac unit. Steven was very knowledgeable, informative and Fast 😀 He was also empathetic to my families’s situation about the unit, only being two years old instead of trying to sell me on their services he suggested I go back with the initial installer. Which in return was the best idea I hope.🙏🏽 that’s another review lol 😝 Nevertheless thank you Steven and Acosta 🙌🏽

  Needed AC repair. I talked w a couple different companies (incl MJ) and Acosta was much easier to coordinate with. They followed up with phone calls regarding scheduling and also the maintenance aspect. They kept me informed throughout the whole process. I spoke w Neesh (sorry, I know I'm butchering the spelling of his name) and Daniel R was the technician who helped me. Thx guys and great job. I should add that, once they realized that the person staying at this residence was an elderly woman, they expedited getting over there and getting that AC running. Very nice. To contrast: The other company i called (^) said they couldn't get that the same day. I said - isn't that the whole msg of your advertising that you get there same day? and Kathy at the other place said "not when its this hot." Go w Acosta.
