  Horrible experience. AC was not cooling below 78 during the day and called Michael and sons to get it looked at. First one said the float switch was causing the unit to shut off. The float switch was bone dry and had never been wet. Called again within a month because the same issue was happening. They charged me two diagnostic fees even though the first fix wasn’t correct. The second time they came out the technicians checked and were baffled for two hours. I told them that the only change was that the airflow wasn’t as strong as it use to. After two hours they talked with their manager and came up with an estimate of 3300 dollars to fix something that has nothing to do with airflow at all. The trainee was the only one who was close to figuring it out but the trainer didn’t want to listen. Needless to say I got a second opinion. Within 30 minutes Blaze heating and cooling was able to figure it out. The damper was incorrectly hooked up and was malfunctioning. 200 dollars later and my ac is working without issues. Avoid this company if you don’t want to be overcharged.

  I had a great experience with Michael & Son Services when I needed to replace my water heater. Elijah, the technician, called ahead with his ETA, arrived on time, and was very helpful in explaining all of my options. He was even able to replace the water heater the same day! From contacting the company to having a new water heater installed was less than 24 hours. I’m very pleased with the prompt, professional service and would definitely recommend this company and Elijah!

  Had a crazy noise coming from my air handler. Called up Michael & Son on a Saturday morning, Jeremy was here in 3 hrs. He is very knowledgable and friendly. Didn't try to upsale anything. Went in, figured out the problem (which was an interesting find lol. Nothing serious thankfully.) and fixed it. Also, helped correct one other thing. Took time answering all my questions without making me feel stupid, which I greatly appreciated. Definitely will be sticking with him and this company. Highly recommend these guys!!

  Zechariah, Daniel, and the whole Michael & Sons team was wonderful. They were very accommodating of my schedule, even letting me know about a schedule change that allowed me to be seen earlier. Zechariah was very friendly and did a great job of explaining what he was going to do and providing us with service options. A couple of days later we had Daniel come out for a different electrical need unrelated to our previous experience and he was also wonderful. The work was completed well and quickly.

  The only reason I’m giving 2 stars is because most of the techs are very knowledgeable. (KB was great and we appreciated his service). However, this company is a money scam and horrible to deal with. I had this company come to diagnose a plumbing issue in June (they ended up diagnosing nothing, and I was given a $300 invoice for them to just look under my sink, say they didn’t know what was causing the moisture problem and watch my water meter for about 20 mins.) Somehow that individual convinced us to sign up for the service plan. Since then I’ve been spammed with calls, texts and emails daily, it’s been a nightmare scheduling appointments, techs show up on days I don’t even have an appointment and I have to talk to 4 people on the phone to schedule an appointment and then they still can’t get it right and the next person I speak to can’t see my appointments in the system. The office is managed horribly, the company is too large, extremely disorganized and it’s been more stress than what it’s worth. I finally told them to cancel my membership and she said I’d get an email confirming cancellation, and of course I didn’t. Extremely disappointed and shocked for all of the good reviews.
