We used LRC for asbestos testing in our 1950s home. They were able to come out quickly and the lab results came back fast. I thought that the pricing was very fair. Tony Richmond came out to our house and really took some time to discuss our issues. He was very knowledgeable about older homes and extremely helpful.

I discovered LRC several month ago after I encountered an issue with my floors buckling in a newly constructed home. Upon inspection/removal of the flooring, the slab had been improperly prepped by the builder ( no subfloor was laid) , no treatment to seal it and the presence of existing clay, dirt and debris created a perfect environment for mold to permeate underneath my hardwoods. LRC was recommended in addition to a remediation specialist. LRC conducted the most thorough examinations, testings and assessments of the many mishaps my builder was responsible for. Their entire team is top notch, at every step of their process LRC was able to provide clear, concise and accurate remedies to protect my investment. LRC is an independent expert that does not compromise a homeowner...particularly in my case they were my advocate. I can't be more appreciative of all the time, attention and expertise they gave to me as I allowed them to perform their higly specialized work to correct /and make my home safe again. There is no price too high to pay when your health, well-being and peace of mind are at stake. You will not find another company in the Raleigh area that operate as efficiently. *****

I wanted to say what an outstanding job “LRC Indoor Testing and Research” does every day. I have worked with Cathy for 13 years with customers that have problems of mold, indoor air quality, or clarification that they are already in a safe environment. The team at LRC has never disappointed. Their professionalism, dedication to quality service, and excellent communication is always on point. Every single team member is pleasant, professional, patient, and have a great attitude to do whatever it takes to satisfy the customer. I would highly recommend LRC for an independent analysis of your indoor air quality, or sample analysis. Their analysis and report generation are all done at their local office, so there is no need to wait for days like so many other companies.

According to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (NCDHHS), and the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning, & Restoration Certification (IICRC), you should use a consultant (like LRC) who DOES NOT also perform remediation services. How much does a typical mold, or Indoor Environmental Quality (IEQ), assessment cost?
The cost can vary depending on the size of the structure being evaluated, the severity of the potential problem, and the types of tests being performed. According to multiple internet sources, the cost for residential testing is typically between $300 for basic inspection (without sampling) to over $1,000 for extensive testing and/or large homes.
