  I had a wonderful experience with Carolina Air and would definitely recommend them! The company worked within my budget for a new A/C unit. I didn't have to wait days for installation; they came out the very next workday. I was pleasantly surprised that the install didn't take all day. The installers who came out were efficient and nice. The manager, Robert, was kind and took the time to explain what was needed and why. Then he even followed up with a phone call the next day to see if everything was running okay and cooling the home. Thank you Carolina Air for a job well done!

  The technician was very kind and willing to answer any questions we had and assisted us with resetting our nest app. And explained what was done with the system it was our yearly maintenance . The company is always on time with setting up appointments for the maintenance we have never had to call them. So PLEASED AND HAPPY WE WENT WITH THIS COMPANY WHEN WE NEEDED A NEW HVAC SYSTEM. ! Always Pleasant !!

  Logan the service technician showed up on time and then explained exactly what he was going to do regarding the HVAC maintenance service. He also was working with a trainee and I noticed how well he communicated with him. After performing the service he then took the time to explain how the thermostats worked and the proper settings. Lastly we discussed additional information on air purification and potential issues that could arise and how to treat them. My wife and I appreciated his comments and his recommendations. It.was a great experience and in the future I’ll request Logan to do the servicing.

  Great service and friendly technicians! Carolina Air always goes above and beyond, is respectful on the property, and will not try to sell you something you don’t need. One of the technicians from the past visit even remembered coming out to repair our system when I was still pregnant with my son and asked how everyone was doing. We started using this company when we bought our house a year ago and had several issues that needed to be fixed, including repairing the main system and replacing the mini split upstairs. Now they are the only one’s we trust to do our system maintenance.

  I had a frustrating experience with Carolina Air. My heat pump stopped working, so I called them out. They charged me $85 just to tell me the compressor was “going out” and said they’d send someone else to take a look. The next visit felt more like a sales pitch than a repair. I was warned about a $5,000 compressor replacement, then pushed toward replacing the entire indoor and outdoor system for around $14,000. I decided to get a second opinion and I’m glad I did. Turns out the issue was just a faulty low-pressure switch. How they couldn't figure that out, I don't know... Long story short: my unit is working perfectly now, and the original diagnosis by Carolina Air was way off! I’d recommend getting a second opinion before agreeing to any major repairs or replacements. In the end, I paid Carolina Air $85 for a salesman to come out.
