- MLMandy Lu3 days ago5.0Mason was our tech and we had a call in on a Sunday. The ac started blowing hot air and wouldn’t cut off. He fixed it fast and didn’t over charge us! We greatly appreciate his courtesy and Sandpiper for coming out on a weekend to get us cooled off!
- DVDoctor VoIPSep 23, 20261.0We have a service contract with this company. We have a small bonus room AC that is not covered in the agreement, so we paid for a service call. The tech showed up, evaluated the situation and told us we needed to get our coils cleaned. Only then did we learn that the service contract on our main AC does not get cleaned as part of the annual visit. The tech clearly did not know the Daikin unit we needed service on. Charged us for the visit, left us with a failed AC and then sent a proposal for a $500 cleaning. We called another company who came out, changed the filter in the Daiken split tested the unit working and billed us less than the service call from SandPiper. I have no idea why we have a service contract in which cleaning a coil is an expensive add on and techs who do not check the basics like a unit needing a simple filter change!

The technician always inspects and cleans my system, then explains to me what work was done. They are always respectful and professional. If there were a negative, it would be the time span allotted for the appointment. That is also understandable when one person has multiple jobs scheduled. The technician can not know what he finds during the inspection. This could make some jobs take more time, and other jobs take less. They have always arrived within the window of my appointment, so back to a positive.
