Love this place. Kevin, at the desk, extended courtesy, kindness, and a fine sense of humor about the task at hand for this DIY'er. The guys in the back walked me through operations to make sure I did not encounter any trouble. I rented an insulation vacuum machine, a task I will never do again by myself. Thank you, Kevin!

Sunbelt Rentals in Asheville showed up when it mattered. Starting a company comes with plenty of unknowns, and these guys didn’t treat us like we were in over our heads—they treated us like partners.
Kevin is the real deal. “I got you” attitude from the jump. Met us at the door, had the equipment ready, and handled business like a pro. No ego, no runaround—just solid, dependable service.
There were hiccups along the way (that’s part of building something from the ground up), but having Sunbelt in our corner kept things moving when it could’ve stalled us out.
Big respect to Kevin for his professionalism and the way he carries himself. That kind of service matters. We’ll be back.

Terrible experience here this week. Rented a lift trailer to move a palletized 7’ tall 700lb commercial bandsaw. What she gave me was a tilt trailer and a pallet truck at 4:30pm, which was useless. No big deal, had my neighbor unload w his tractor. The big deal came when I went to return the following morning. The lady wanted to know why I took it, why I didn’t call(they close at 5), and insisted on charging me for the pallet truck, even though it was useless to me. She has no concept of what I was trying to do, or why it wouldn’t work, or why it wasn’t obviously a tilt trailer, and didn’t care.
I’d never refuse to pay for something I used. I’ll see her face every time I need to rent something. I hope I never need to go back there.

Is a deposit required for a reservation?
For customers without a line of credit, Sunbelt Rentals does not require a deposit to rent tools and equipment. However, you will be asked for payment information when you make your reservation. Your credit or debit card will not be charged for the rental period (one ((1)) day minimum) until you pick up the equipment.
For Credit Customers, we will secure a deposit for your reservation. This deposit will be held within your account until the rental equipment is returned and the contract closed. Apply for a credit account here.
If your project is quick and you only need the equipment for a few hours, Sunbelt Rentals does offer a Rapid Return rate. Return the equipment within four (4) hours of the pickup time and we will refund the difference of the Rapid Return rate. Rates will vary based on product. Call 800-667-9328 if you have any questions.
What if I need to keep my equipment longer?
If you need assistance, please contact the branch of the equipment rental and they can extend the rental for you. When you keep the equipment longer, we will add the additional time and charges to your contract and credit card. Please refer to the rental contract, where the day, week and 4-week rates are shown for each piece of tool and equipment.
Can I return rented equipment at any location?
Typically, equipment should be returned to the same location where you initially rented it. If you need to return it to a different location, please contact the store where you rented the equipment for guidance. It’s advisable to call ahead so we can assist you in finding a convenient alternative location for your return. Your convenience is our priority.
What is the cost for the delivery of equipment to my location?
The delivery charge is calculated based on the category and class of equipment, the location of the rental location, the distance of the project site from the rental location.
Can I get tools and equipment delivered to me?
Yes, Sunbelt Rentals offers convenient delivery options from our extensive network of locations for a reasonable fee. When making a reservation, simply select the delivery option. During the reservation process, you can specify the delivery drop-off date and time, as well as your estimated equipment pickup date. The estimate is for our planning purposes and not a final date.
To initiate our equipment pickup service, you must confirm the end of your rental via the app or by phone. Additionally, if you have specific delivery instructions or prefer a designated contact person for coordination, please include those details when submitting your reservation.
For businesses utilizing a commercial credit account, associated delivery and pickup fees will be reflected in your invoice.

What happens if a tool breaks or quits working while I am renting it?
