  **1-Star Review — Extremely Experience with Beazer Homes** Our experience with Beazer Homes has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing. What should have been an exciting experience purchasing a new home has instead been filled with poor communication, broken promises, and changes being made without our knowledge or approval. Our sales agent told us that the **exterior paint color we wanted was available**. We relied on that information when moving forward and signing our contract. However, immediately after we signed, we were told that the color was actually not available and that we would have to choose something different. This was extremely frustrating because we made our decision based on information that we were given before signing. Unfortunately, the problems continued with the design process. During our design appointment, we were told that certain **fixture colors and finishes** were available and were making our selections based on those discussions. However, after we left the appointment, we received paperwork showing that the fixtures had been changed to a completely different color **without anyone consulting us or informing us of the change**. We were essentially expected to simply sign the paperwork and accept the changes. When we questioned this, we were told that the fixtures we originally wanted would increase the price of the house beyond what it would appraise for. If that was truly the concern, it should have been clearly explained to us **before** the selections were made and documented—not changed afterward without our knowledge. The design team has also been extremely difficult to work with. Communication has been poor, calls and emails have gone unanswered, and getting straightforward answers has been unnecessarily difficult. For a company selling homes at this price point, this level of communication is completely unacceptable. The biggest issue isn't simply that certain colors or fixtures weren't available. Things can change during the building process. The problem is that we feel we were **told one thing before signing, then told something different afterward, and later had selections changed without our approval**. Buying a new construction home is a major financial commitment, and customers should be able to trust that what they are told by the sales and design teams is accurate and that their selections will actually be respected. Instead, this experience has left us feeling misled, frustrated, and completely disappointed in Beazer Homes. Based on our experience so far, **I would strongly caution anyone considering purchasing a Beazer home to get every promise, color, finish, fixture, and selection in writing before signing anything and to carefully review every document afterward.**
