I have waited months before writing this review because I wanted to make sure I was being objective. We connected with Rock Solid through Lowe's. Randy visited our home and was a very good sales person. So we signed up to have our siding replaced. Unfortunately, after signing the contract, we had a few things happen that impacted our finances and we emailed Rock Solid to ask them to hold off on ordering materials. The contract states that it can be cancelled without charge if materials have not been ordered. Their reply was "Ok, no problem." Unfortunately, a week later we asked them to cancel the contract and they said they had already ordered materials and would charge 50% to cancel. So, we went ahead with the project. Each day after they worked, I went outside and personally cleaned up the yard so that my kids could safely play. I collected hundreds, if not thousands of nails. When the job was done, we did a walkthrough where I pointed out several areas that were not complete. They assured me it would be done, and then left without doing it. This included an entire gutter downspout left laying the in yard, my electric meter being pulled away from the house and not reattached and huge amounts of insulation laying in the mulch. They did come back after I called and reattach the gutter, but I had to personally remove and replace the mulch and they never reattached the meter. I also again collected hundreds more nails. After the job was over I discovered two things. The aluminum wrap they placed on the wood on the roof is left exposed to water seeping between it and the wood. Also, they destroyed the Styrofoam insulation from my attic walls while working on the siding and left the bathroom vents unattached. (pictures here). My last communication from them said "I am sorry to hear that. I am forwarding this to our VP and Operations manager. If we did not do a good job and caused issues, I assure you we will work to make it right." but that was 6 months ago and I never heard another word.

If I could give o stars I would. Beware. Do not use this company. They botched my door installation and encouraged my husband to fix an issue that was their problem and now my warranty is void. DO NOT USE THEM and stay away from Lowe’s.

I used Rock Solid Construction to completed the removal of am existing glass door / frame and replaced it with new one. They coordinated the schedule with me to meet my needs and communicated clearly thru the entire process. They did a great job on the installation and I would definitely use him again on future projects.
