  This was the first of 2 inspections and cleanings for the next year. The tech did an excellent job and was very polite and left no mess. We have used Sandhills since the house was built in 2023 and are very satisfied with them.

  I came home from a trip and learned the AC was not working. I called and talked to Brittany and she scheduled someone to come out right away. Tyree arrived about 90 minutes after my call and was professional and courteous. Luckily, it was a minor connection problem and Tyree fixed it, and, described in detail what he did (and the price very reasonable). I would definitely recommend Sandhills Heating, Refrigeration, & Electrical!

  Had an emergency, same day service on HVAC and they were able to get someone on the job quickly. RJ was prompt in finding the issue and got my AC working in no time. Very respectful, def recommend this company. Little pricey, but that’s just how it is nowadays.

  The office was super polite but as far as service went, couldn’t have been more disappointed. First tech came out and to be honest I’m not really sure what he did, he told me “this is the worst call I’ve been on all week”, because he was scared of the bugs in the crawlspace..He went and removed my return box from the air handler and then told me I needed a new one, said he cleaned the coils which wasn’t true (I verified by pulling the panel and looking myself). So after he cranked the heat to thaw the coils I asked him what was wrong and he just shrugged. Was left with a $320 bill and no answers. I called the next day and they did offer to send a senior tech out free of charge, I said sure. The tech came to assess for leaks and determined that we needed a new unit. So I called a local HVAC guy in my neighborhood who found the leak within less than 10 mins.. even worse, the leak was right next to the motor in the outdoor unit. An easy find. Also to add to this i ended up going under and reinstalling the return box myself (10 mins after the tech told me he couldn’t because it was too wet). Too often we see the service and automotive industry take advantage of families and I’m glad I was able to walk away with a functioning AC without being conned. I’m hopeful that it was just incompetence and lack of experience, but that’s just more reason to avoid this company. Be good my friends.

  Andrea was a nice guy that fixed my issue in a timely manner and had a great attitude. He explained the issue and the steps he took to resolve them and explained payment and what each thing cost in a very down to earth manner. Unfortunately i can only give 5 stars and not 6. I have only had good experience with sandhills heating&air all of there employees have been wonderful especially since no one likes going under a house lets be real.
