  We purchased a 1910 duplex in January and quickly realized the electrical system needed a complete overhaul. Taking on a project of that size in a house this old can be intimidating, but Holland Electric made the entire process smooth and stress-free. From our first conversations with the office staff to working directly with the owner and electricians, everyone was knowledgeable, courteous, professional, and honest. Derrick Holland took the time to walk us through every step of the project and patiently answered our endless questions. We never felt rushed or pressured. As often happens with older homes, unexpected issues came up along the way. Each time, the Holland team approached them as problem-solvers. They clearly explained our options, outlined the costs and potential timeline impacts, and helped us make informed decisions. We always felt they had our best interests in mind. The quality of the work was outstanding. Updating the electrical in a 115-year-old house requires expertise and attention to detail, and Holland Electric delivered on both. We now have the peace of mind that comes from knowing the work was done correctly and safely. We highly recommend Holland Electric to anyone looking for a trustworthy, skilled electrical contractor. We wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

  Holland Electric is the only place to go for any electrical service. Over the years we have used different electricians until we discovered Holland. A few years back we called Holland because we were having trouble running our house from our generator during the first power outage after having a transfer switch newly installed by another company. Darrin ran diagnostics on the generator and determined the generator was good. He then checked everything inside and out and fixed a dangerous wiring mistake in the generator transfer switch the other electrician had improperly installed. We have used Holland for all our electrical needs/issues ever since. Most recently, Candice installed some outdoor lights for us. They are honest, professional, friendly, and know their stuff. Everyone we have dealt with at Holland, from Catherine who is the first person you talk to when you call to Darrin and Candice are great people.

  What a great company. From the call to the Service, everyone is so kind and so helpful and their work is impeccable. We’ve had them at our house multiple times and most recently we needed somebody same day for a specific electrical issue and of course they were able to take care of us. I couldn’t recommend them enough they’re absolutely the best in town.

  I cannot remember if I have left a review for Holland before, but we have now used them twice and they are one of the best contractors we have ever had work on the house. About a year ago, we tore the ceiling out of basement and they redid all of the lighting and electrical, fixed other past owners mistakes, and just did an all around beautiful job. Then, we recently hired them again to add some additional lighting upstairs, a few more outlets, and also track a switch that no one knew what it was doing (and now we have additional lighting outside because of their due diligence). Another superb job. The entire team from the owners to the electricians are very professional, easy to work with, beyond nice and courteous, and do some of cleanest and prettiest work I have seen from any contractor. If you need an electrician, Holland is your company.
