  Excellent! He’s helped me with multiple projects and has been responsive, reliable, honest, on time and genuinely helpful. My only hesitation in writing this review and giving 5+ stars is that it might make him harder to get ahold of in the future 😂. Finding a truly honest, knowledgeable person who actually shows up in my town is apparently a rare skill! Highly recommend!

  I can't go into detail as it is too long. But this guy is awful! Id never recommend him. Other contractors agreed he is bad and should not be in the business.

  Update after his response: I believe his reply proves his lack of professionalism or at least some human interaction skills. He may claim he wasn't rude, but rudeness is defined by the person receiving the interaction, not the source. He was definitely rude to me as he finished the (non) work. Also I can confirm he DID in fact charge me for at least an hour of extra driving time to pick up a part. When I questioned an hour on an invoice last fall he clearly told me he charged me for an extra hour driving around looking for a part. I have that in writing. Furthermore, I never said mediocre. He's the one defining his work as mediocre, apparently--not me. In spite of almost $2000 spent the only thing I got from him was a simple $90 pressure tank installation--a 10 minute task in which he drained water, unbolted the old, rebooted the new--unrelated to the boiler but a tank going bad that he offered to replace. I have had much more major boiler work done by other contractors at other locations, contractors who have been friendly, professional, and fair throughout. I cannot put Justin in that category. Original: Justin may do some OK work but way overcharged me when he installed several parts that were defective and claimed, "Well, it's not my fault and I need to get paid for my time"--leaving the heating system still broken after three attempts over six months. He even tried to not refund the over $300 I paid him for the first defective replacement part which he took back for refund to himself, until I balked at him not refunding my payment to him for that. He was extremely rude at the end, in particular. Furthermore, his rate is a bit higher than others in the area last time I checked. I have had outstanding service from a very professional heating person at another location (one who unfortunately doesn't service my current area) so I know my expectations of professionalism are not unwarranted. Basically, I paid this person almost $2000 for a still-not-working heating system. And largely due to his rudeness at the end along with incorrect and questionable remarks in his reply here, I will have another contractor complete the needed work.

  Justin is great. In a world full of contractors that are wishy washy and open-ended, Justin does what he says when he says he'll do it. No BS. Fair pricing and great work. Wouldn't hesitate to hire again.
