We paid approximately $3,000 to repair a crack in our basement wall after being shown photos of professional-looking work. To provide access, we removed a sink and tore out drywall in our bathroom, as instructed. The actual repair took less than an hour and may have taken only 30 minutes. The finished patch looked rushed, uneven, and far below the quality we expected based on the examples shown during the inspection. When we raised our concerns with the original inspector, we were told that the company had completed the work we agreed to. We did not feel that our concerns about the workmanship were taken seriously. Based on our experience, I strongly recommend getting other estimates and requiring clear, written expectations for the finished result before hiring Groundworks. We paid a premium price and were deeply dissatisfied with the quality of the work and the response afterward.
