  My husband and I are wanting to upgrade the siding on our house, and Gateway was recommended to us by a neighbor. My husband filled out the online information for someone to contact him to schedule an estimate. After several attempts to reach someone, over a period of a couple of weeks, he was finally able to speak with one of the owners who indicated he would pass our request for an estimate to his partner and that the partner would be responding. Well, it's now over 3 weeks since our original attempt to contact them and still no response about an estimate. Deeply disappointed in this lack of courtesy of this non- response. If they are too busy right now to take on another job, that is understandable, but it would be nice to get a return call just to convey that information. We have moved on to another company who responded immediately and scheduled an estimate within a week. We don't like to give poor reviews, but this is not acceptable. Sorry Gateway, but the facts are the facts.

  We decided that it was time to to address updating the exterior of our home. We knew that we were only going to use James Hardie products so we met with several JH installers in the local area. Our last JH installer we would meet with was Gateway Exteriors. We met with the owner Chuck Koehler who came out to our home. We discussed what we wanted to do to our home and color schemes. Chuck had a proposal for us the very next day. Our project would remove all existing soffits, fascia, trim boards and vinyl siding and replace it all with James Hardie materials. We also had a couple windows replaced plus a new 6” seamless guttering system. Gateway Exteriors did an outstanding job. The crew worked long hours in the St. Louis summer heat, always punctual and never complaining. Each day was a day of progress and another day closer to completion. For me it was exciting coming home each day to see the progress. For anyone looking towards exterior improvements look no further than Gateway Exteriors. Not only do they do excellent work, they will save you money over the local competition.

  I have used Gateway Exteriors for many projects over the past 29 years, including soffit, fascia, siding, windows and doors and have always been very pleased with the results. Chuck and his team conduct themselves in a very professional and courteous manner and are skilled craftsmen. I highly recommend them for your exterior needs.
