  We had an excellent experience with Lurk Custom Cabinets during our custom home build. We were referred to them by a friend, and from my very first conversation with Tim, I knew they were the company we wanted to use. Honestly, I was willing to cut back somewhere else in our build just to make sure we could work with them. Lurk completed our entire kitchen, bathroom vanities, and pantry, and the quality and craftsmanship were outstanding. But what truly set them apart was the customer service. At times, I joked that Tim became my “house-building therapist.” I would call him with random thoughts, questions, or worries during the process, and he always took the time to listen, offer feedback, and help find solutions. He absolutely did not have to do that, but he consistently went above and beyond. The design process, communication, and delivery were all seamless. We handled the installation ourselves since we have a family member who installs cabinets professionally, and even he commented on how organized and easy everything was because of the detailed labeling and preparation. We have been in our house for almost a year now, and I already have a running list of other projects I want them to come back and do for us — which says everything about how happy we are with their work. I would highly recommend Lurk Custom Cabinets to anyone building or remodeling. You will not be disappointed!

  The experience is nothing short of first class. I didn’t personally deal much with the shop, but Tim and team from the installation side were awesome to deal with. Cabinets are fantastic as they are the second set of Lurk cabinets we have purchased. In my opinion, as high-quality as it gets.

  We worked with Mike and his family on custom cabinets for our home and they are absolutely beautiful and made to impeccable standards of quality. The Lurk Cabinets surpass surpass even the high quality custom cabinets in our previous home. The Lurks built beautiful walnut cabinets for our kitchen and pantry; and gorgeous alder cabinets for our lower level bar, laundry room, master and guest baths. Mike's suggestions were helpful in design -- especially the custom gray stain he created for the laundry room. The only thing I would change is the trash can inserts in the lower level bar. In the kitchen, I insisted on the dual container insert and it works beautifully even after 5 years. In the lower level, I went with Mike's preferred wooden insert for a single trash can. It might work better if I could find a slightly larger trash can of the right height...but the one provided is slightly small and fits too loosely. It often slips sideways a bit and then catches when we attempt to close the drawer. Other than that one tiny issue, everything is perfect. If I built 5 more homes, I'd have the Lurks build the custom cabinets for each one.
