I came in intending to buy an all metal valve vs the plastic at the big box stores, but after discussing my issue with the salesman he pointed me towards a few more troubleshooting steps to try first. I ended up not buying anything today and followed his advice and it solved my issue. I liked that he took time to talk me through the issue and showed me respect as a potential one time small purchase vs a contractor with larger or recurring orders.
