I had a great experience. Honest, helpful, and Jason is not only a great representative of this company; but a great man as well. Will always recommend these guys.

Showed up early for the inspection, found the leak and repaired it quickly. They were great at communicating what the problem was and how they fixed it. Incredible customer service. Would recommend to anyone.

This company sucks ever since it was sold off. Ive had to call them 6 times to try to get quotes. They dont show up when they say they will. They didnt help me at all when the adjuster was here. I got screwed by the insurance company because they dont provide any feedback to adjusters. Id recommend staying far, far away from them. Dont trust them.

I just want to take a moment to tell you how impressed I was by sal from teague roofing Plus today. After the hail storm people are going door to door trying to get you to replace your roof because it benefits them to do so. You hear lots of stories about companies telling you your roof needs replaced when it really doesn't. Sal came by today and did a free inspection and gave me the great news that we don't need a new roof and that our roof is in fine shape. He gave me lots of details and suggestions for when we do need a new roof. His honesty has won my business whem eventually we will need a roof. If you're looking for somebody to give you an honest inspection and estimate on your roof, this is the place to do it.

We were under contract to sell our mom's house when the hail storm hit. Joel Adams at Teague Roofing was absolutely the best to work with. By the time the insurance claim had been approved we only had 8 days to complete the work before closing. Joel made it happen! Highly recommend!
Frequently Asked Questions About Teague Roofing Plus
Do I need a permit to replace my roof in Springfield, MO?
Yes. The City of Springfield requires a building permit for roof replacement. You or your contractor can apply online through the city's eCity portal or in person at Building Development Services at 840 Boonville Ave.
Springfield follows the 2018 International Residential Code, which requires ice and water shield along the eaves, wind-rated shingles, and drip edge at all roof edges.
If your home is in unincorporated Greene County instead of city limits, the county uses older 2012 codes and has a separate permit office at 940 Boonville Ave. Teague Roofing Plus handles permits on every job so you don't have to.
How much does a new roof cost in Springfield, MO?
The cost depends on the size of your roof, the pitch, the materials you choose, and how many layers need to be torn off. Springfield homes typically range from 1,200 to 3,000 square feet of roof area.
We give every homeowner a free inspection and a written estimate before any work begins. If your roof was damaged by a storm, your insurance policy may cover most or all of the replacement cost minus your deductible.
How do I know if my roof has hail damage?
Hail damage is hard to spot from the ground. On asphalt shingles, it shows up as dark circles where the granules have been knocked off, exposing the mat underneath. You might also see dents in metal flashing, cracked ridge caps, or bruised gutters.
Springfield sits in a very severe hail zone, so hail damage is common here.
We recommend getting a professional inspection after any storm that produces hail larger than one inch.
Our inspections are free and we provide a photo report of everything we find.
Does Teague Roofing Plus help with insurance claims?
Yes.
Insurance claims are a big part of what we do in Springfield. After a storm, we inspect your roof for free, document the damage with photos, and meet your insurance adjuster on site. We walk the roof with them so nothing gets missed.
Missouri law requires your insurer to acknowledge your claim within 10 business days and respond to your proof of loss within 15 business days.
You have up to five years to file a lawsuit if a claim is wrongly denied.
We help you understand every deadline and protect your rights
What roofing materials work best in Springfield's climate?
Springfield's combination of severe hail, 100-plus freeze-thaw cycles, high summer humidity, and strong winds means your materials matter.
We install Owens Corning shingles rated for high wind and impact resistance. For homes in hail-prone areas, we recommend impact-resistant Class 4 shingles, which can also lower your insurance premiums.
For commercial buildings, TPO and standing seam metal handle Springfield's temperature swings well. As an Owens Corning Platinum Preferred Contractor, we can help you choose the right product for your roof and your budget.
