  Very unprofessional. I had a simple drain clean out, they said they want a credit card upfront. I said no problem. They refused to come out because the person that I said referred me to them owed them money. They were rude, had me on hold for a very long time and were totally unreasonable. I have hired them before to scope a drain, he forgot his camera. Go elsewhere

  Terrible experience with Gateway Sewer & Drain. I paid $542 in labor plus $225 for a camera inspection — $767 total — and they still couldn’t resolve the problem or even locate the outdoor access/cleanout line. I hired Tope Plumbing, and within about 15 minutes they located an outdoor cleanout roughly 5 feet from where Gateway had been working. They hydro-flushed the line, cleared the blockage, and got everything flowing again for $305 within 1 hour. Almost $800 with no resolution vs. $305 to Tope to actually find the access point and fix the problem. Stay away from Gateway. Hire them if you want to blow your money on labor and inspection charges for nothing to get done. Keep in mind these guys tried convincing me I needed to excavate 9 feet of dirt to find the outdoor access line, Tope found it in 15 min. Can you imagine if I didn’t get a second opinion and spent thousands excavating for nothing? The picture attached shows their “findings.” Jim was the one who told me the excavation needed to happen. Beware.

  Peyton was great, friendly, quick and efficient. He diagnosed and resolved the issue promptly and made sure everything was cleaned up before leaving. He also shared helpful tips on maintaining the garbage disposal and preventing future issues. Really appreciated his professionalism and helpful attitude.
