  I've been very patient waiting to make a review as I was waiting to hear back from the company after a few attempts of me reaching out. A project that was supposed to take a day, turned into over a week. The first tech that came out, Brock, left several holes in our wall because apparently he doesn't use a stud finder. We were assured a drywaller would come out the next day and 2 weeks later, nothing. I requested a new tech and they sent Ryan who was phenomenal. He is the only reason my review is a 3 and not lower. The whole project was a nigntmare, first they rescheduled because the dehumidifier wasn't in on time. Then when it did come, it was damaged. Then they installed 2 thermostats that didn't work with our unit and I had to request the right one. Ryan truly saved the day with his wisdom and calm demeanor. We had several days where the ERV and dehumidifier were not working properly, probably because it wasn't installed right by Brock the first time. Again, Ryan saved the day. The service manager was supposed to call me back to talk through how the company was going to handle things, and nothing still. Maybe this review will get their attention. All in all, I probably wouldn't hire them again due to poor communication, broken promises, and neglect.

  Brock came out to clean a condensate drain but unfortunately the catch pan was rusted which would have required a cost prohibitive repair on a 24 yr old air handler. We have decided to have them install a new one and we joined their service program which is a great value for what you get. Brock was honest and very knowledgeable and came up with a temporary fix to keep the old girl limping along until we can get the new system installed. One thing that is very important to me is doing business with local family owned companies because PE is slowly destroying that and I'm grateful I found Callahan! Thank you Brock!

  4 stars with 4 points of interest: -First tech that came out was friendly, but as the day went on he became a little dodgy and we found his work quality/end result was extremely poor, we called and emailed pictures - 2 other techs came to fix the job and they did a very professional job, in a very respectful manner. They ensured we knew what was done and made sure we approved of the work quality before leaving the house. Those 2 characteristics are extremely valuable. If not for the first tech, it would be five stars. - Sales lady interaction : Price seemed a bit high and she had alot of ynique warranty stipulations that didnt make alot of sense, i shrugged it off since most of jt didnt apply to our situation, and the Aspen has its own warranty - She said they fill out warranty registration info for us, sounds great but she also said we only get a 5 year warranty with our aspen evap coil, which is strange because Aspen says its a 10 yr warranty and only drops to 5 if they are not registering the warranty as they claim, so i guess in a month i will check if it was registered as she claimed it would be or not and i just do it myself

  I had a great experience with Levi. He was professional, friendly, and took the time to explain exactly what he was checking and what he found. He diagnosed that not only was the outside capacitor the problem, but that inside capacitor was getting weak and clearly explained what it does and why it might need to be replaced in the future. What I appreciated most was that there was absolutely no pressure to replace the inside capacitor on the spot. He gave me the information, explained the cost, and let me make the decision without any sales pitch. It’s refreshing to work with someone who is honest, knowledgeable, and focused on helping the customer. I highly recommend them!

  I HAVE AIR AGAIN.. Let me tell you, I'm VERY happy with the Callahan service, and pricing... My technician was LEVI,, very on his game, knew just what to do, and talked me thru it all.. very nice young man did a lot of the service in the pouring rain and still kept his composure and good attitude... My unit wasn't cooling anymore.. The tech said, the furnace wasn't sending the signal to the compressor in the AC unit to cool..... He looked over the whole system, told me what he needed to fix and how much.. I also thought it was a good idea that he clean the AC unit while he was here.. He advised me of what was done, said it should be good for awhile as is,, but also mentioned that a different part may eventually need to be replaced.. Or I may want in future to invest in a new unit, given my unit was made in 2006.... The job, cost me $98 for the call and $99 for the service cleaning... I'm THRILLED, I thought the fix would probably run me close to $500.. Thank you so much Levi, you gave this old lady her cool back..... Clovie Lee
