Brad found collapsed ductwork heading to a room that had always been hotter. Now the temperature is even everywhere that’s to Brad and High efficiency.

DAMAGED MY SEWER LINES THEN CLAIMED THEY DIDNT. I bought a whole new system from SmithCo in Jan 2026. My home is on a septic tank. When they installed the condenser unit they crushed my sewer line. -The sewer lines were clear and operable prior and up to installation; I had a full septic/sewer inspection just the month prior. -There was no one else in that area of the yard between the time they installed to the time the break was discovered. -Sewer lines don’t freeze, as the owner Matt tried to suggest. -It was broken on each side of the condenser unit where they installed it. -The plumber pointed out that the break was new because the broken part of the pipe was white and if it were old it would be dirty. -There are no requirements where I live for depth of sewer lines. -Matt came out to my property to look at everything. My plumber was even here to show him everything and explain plumbing questions Matt had. -Matt offered to move and replace the condenser unit for the sewer repair but not cover the repair costs and said he just didn’t believe at all that it was caused by his team. -After leaving he sent me a text letting me know that he would not move the condenser but he would file a claim with his insurance company with the evidence he has (before and after photos they took that don’t show my sewer line broken under the unit) and let them decide. -Given his lack of accountability I doubt they are receiving my & the plumber’s evidence as well. -$13,778 in business from me and this is how they treat their costumers. -I personally will not be using this company again or recommending them to anyone. -SmithCo states in their response to this review that I bought my house the month before they did the install. They installed in Jan 2026, I bought my home in June 2025. -Their review response also said there was a clog two months after the install: where the condenser sits literally cuts off the sewer pipe. The units foundation is sitting lower than my sewer pipe. It caused mud to clog the sewer pipe right up against the condenser unit into the pipe that my plumber had to unclog to stop the pipe from back flowing into my garage. -The guy who came out to look at everything saw clearly that the unit was cutting through the ground and the sewer line on both sides (back & front) of the condenser unit and the entire time he kept saying “the line shouldn’t have been buried so shallow”, “I just don’t see how that could be our fault”. -I have requested their insurance company’s info and have received no response. -So if you’re looking to have a new condenser installed be sure you know what’s underground around your home because if SmithCo happens to damage anything they will not replace/repair what they broke.

They stayed until 8:30 at night to make sure the units were ready and working before the weekend came. Top notch cutomer service and attentioin to detail. Thanks so much SmithCo!
