Josh stopped by to give us an assessment after we found the business on a Google search. He was very professional and answered all our questions and didn’t make us feel rushed at all. He’s very knowledgeable and provided us with sound logic and rationale for his recommendations to solve our tilting sidewalk and soil issues. He even provided us with several different options at different price points to strategically resolve our foundation issue. He also found an issue underlying our driveway that we hadn’t noticed but when he did his assessment he pointed it out to us. Whew! That would have been much costlier repair down the road if he didn’t point it out to us. Overall it was a good visit and great customer service. We feel confident that the work that will be done will be high quality and thorough and we have the warranty from them to back that. If all the employees here are like Josh then I’m happy to be this company’s customer. I feel like I have a trusted partner who has my interests at heart and really cares about the longevity of my home not just about making the next buck. Thanks, Josh!

We went with Foundation Recovery Systems because they have a good rating on the BBB and a few acquaintances recommended them. This 3 day job is now at 3 weeks, with an excavator that seems to have become a permanent fixture in my yard. Between only working 4 hour days, only 1 person actually working at a time, and never having the correct materials needed with them when they show up late to a job, I don’t see how this company has the rating they do on the BBB or google. We are still waiting for them to finish. We were also promised things that they just flat out do not do, 6 months no interest or removing a framed wall and didn’t replace. Be careful of the salesmen they send to do your estimate. Also have someone else reinspect when finished. Not sure our foundation was actually raised the 3/4” they said we had sunk. The footing to our house was cracked and the pylon isn’t actually attached to the concrete where they cracked it. The sump pump they installed leaked from every fitting the first 2 days since it rained and now I can see light next to the pipe going outside. The drainage pipe outside currently drains 6” outside the wall so we are just recycling ground water through our foundation.

Up front, I would like to say did NOT ultimately utilize Foundation Recovery Systems. The decision was largely related to external factors (timeline, proximity of the scope of work to other aspects of our project). However, Adam was great to work with. He completed a comprehensive assessment and was thorough in his explanations. He offered us several options on how solutions could be approached and gave us detailed explanations for why various approaches may be less than ideal. He also backed his rationale by showing us the measurements he was taking and explaining why he thought interventions were either necessary or unwarranted. Wish we could have used their services because Adam was great to work with and if considering a project with FRS, would ask for Adam!

Jeremy came out to take a look at what I was experiencing with my home, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. He was extremely kind, professional, and thorough. He took the time to carefully inspect everything, then sat down with me and explained in great detail what was going on. I had so many questions, and he patiently listened to every single one and took the time to answer them all. I never felt rushed or like I was just another customer. His knowledge and attention to detail gave me a lot of confidence and reassurance that I made the right choice in going with Foundation Recovery Systems. Making major decisions about your home can be stressful, especially when you’re dealing with something unexpected. Having a company you can genuinely trust makes all the difference. I’m incredibly grateful for the time and care Jeremy put into helping me understand the situation and feel comfortable moving forward. Highly recommend!

Update: 9/17 day of install. I make arrangements with my job to be home from work for the contract work. Around 9:00 something a.m. I get a call from Gage. Gage advises me that he has another job booked in front of him that might take a while and he still has to stop and get supplies so they may be running behind. He will keep me updated as he knows more. Around 1:30 I still have heard from nobody. So I call and text my sales person advising him that nobody has shown up yet. Soon after I get another call from Gage letting me know that they are still working at the previous job and has a later appointment available. At this point I tell him I've already arranged to be away from my work place and completely cleaned out my garage and have everything sitting outside in my yard and inside my house waiting to be put back after the job is complete, therefore I need the job done today as promised. Gage reluctantly said okay and would let me know when they were on their way. Around 3:00 I received another call from Gage. At this point Gage has advised me that there would be two crews doing my work (which I was jot aware of)and the work that he is scheduled for does not pertain to the garage. I advised him that I had heard nothing about the crew for the garage and wanted to make sure that they're coming today still. He said he would have a manager call me because he was not sure. We make arrangements to reschedule this part of the job for 9/28. Another day that I will have to arrange to be away from my work place. Around 4:30 I receive a call from the manager for the garage floor and driveway work. He proceeds to tell me that I am scheduled for the 21st. I advise him I've heard of no such date from them. He advised me that it was scheduled on the 2nd. I advised him that I was not notified he proceeded to say that it looked like the girl that scheduled it might not have contacted me(not acceptable). Now I need to make arrangements to be away from work on another day. At this point I now have none of the work done that I was contracted to get. I am now going to have to be away from my workplace for 3 days instead of one. Needless to say I am very frustrating, giving the fact that Josh knew that I had already had bad experience with past contractors. And now here we go again!!!! Josh showed up right on time, which was great because I completely forgot he was even coming! He was professional and easy to talk to. We walked around to look at some problem areas, and I vented a bit about my bad experiences with past contractors. Josh listened closely, did a thorough walkthrough of the house. He came back with a solid plan to fix everything and addressed some things that i might want to address in the future if not today. I’m happy to say we just signed a contract with him for part of the project. They are going to help me fix the botched jobs from previous contractors and clean up a few eyesores around my home. I will come back after the work is done for additional reviews on the actual work done. Josh was fun to talk with. I think you should give him a raise just for being as personable as he is. I am just rambling now because, I am supposed to make this review super long so that his boss will have a lot of reading to do in the morning meeting. LoL.
